Comedienne Nasra Yusuf Breaks Up With Her Husband After 7 Months Of Marriage

Talented stand-up comedienne Nasra Yusuf and her long term partner Rashid, now ex-husband, have gone their separate ways after a marriage that lasted only 7 months.

The jester got married to Rashid in 25th April this year, after dating for three years. Together, they had what seemed to be a perennial bond but has been broken. They had already started a show together dubbed ‘love wins’.

Writing on her Instagram, Nasra disclosed that she’s already planning to file for a divorce; and that she’s adjusting to single life;

”Dear #Nasrashid fans,I’m sorry to disappoint y’all but Rashid and I are nolonger together ????it’s been an exciting yet challenging journey and we both feel like we deserve better..I’ll be filing for my divorce soon because of irreconcilable issues and I’m already adjusting to being single…I take this time to appreciate the support you’ve shown us..asanteni sana..”

Nasra continued to admonish her fans not to give up on love and that their show would still continue despite the break -up;

”…and please don’t give up on love because of one bad ending ❤????
I will however, still go ahead with my “love wins comedy special” show because it is a project that I have worked so hard for and really passionate about and I can’t let it go just because we’re not together..I will be doing it SOLO,because I can, I will and I must..so get your tickets at *229*69# and come have a good time ❤

From the comment section, it’s needless to say that not everyone believes Nasra’s statement. Maybe this is yet another kiki stunt-which we’re getting used to from some celebrities.

There is no better feeling than being chosen and appreciated by the person you love the most. However men from this generation barely claim their women; but thanks to Director Rashid’s latest post dedicated to his wife – we are now convinced that not all men are the same. Lol.

This is after Rashid poured out his heart to comedienne Nasra Yusuf who he refers to his rib, the love of his life and above all; the woman chosen by his heart!

The post aimed at celebrating the new milestone in their lives caught most of their fans by surprise; but mostly I think it’s how Rashid played with his words while appreciating his wifey.

In the same detailed post, Director Rashid revealed how he always dreamt of marrying Nasra; a God given wife – and just like that his prayers were answered on Sunday 25th April.

For that reason, the young man concluded this post by adding;

Churchill show’s Nasra Yusuf tearfully opens up on unsupportive father (Video)

Churchill Show’s only Somali comedienne, Nasra Yusuf has defied the odds of her culture to rub shoulders with some of the biggest comedians and influencers in the country but to date, her father has always been against her career path.

Despite showing the skill and talent while at a very young age, the Somali culture almost became a stumbling block for a young Nasra Yusuf who found her place in the comedy art and ran with it.

Telling her story on Jalango TV, the Somali beauty admitted that unlike her dad, her mom has always been very supportive of her art in comedy. As for her dad, even though she has gained massive recognition from the art, he never wants to hear anything to do with her daughter becoming a comedian and has even never watched her shows.

A topic she has never sat down with her dad to discuss because that will only light a fire she might never be able to put off. Many would ask why? Turns out that Nasra’s dad expected his daughter to behave like the accustomed Somali girl who would sit at home and wait to be given off to her parents’ choice of a husband but Nasra would not conform to that.

“My dad expects me to be the typical Somali girl, to sit at home, find a husband and get married off. That’s it!” narrated Nasra Yusuf.

Nasra’s hookup with boyfriend Rashid

In fact, recently, her dad found out about her rumored boyfriend, Rashid and immediately rang her to question her about walking around with a man he is not privy to. Do you know, Nasra hang up on her dad and never attempted to call him back to discuss the same.

“I got scared so I didn’t answer him instead told him I’ll buy credit then call back. Until today, I have not called him,” Nasra hilariously narrated.

But if she hacked with her comedy career, then nothing is impossible. According to the funny babe, Rashid is hers and remains to be her better half till death do them part. Both being comedians and looking to grow together. Listen in;
