“My mum and dad fueled my decision to keep away from men” Ex Vitimbi actress Nyasuguta reveals why she’s still SINGLE

Eunice Wambui popularly known as Nyasuguta has no man to offer her warmth and affection. The former Vitimbi actress has valid reason to be single.

Many people thought Nyasuguta was someone’s wife, rarely do you see single women vying for a parliamentary seats in Kenya. Nyasuguta was eying Embakasi South parliamentary seat on a Jubilee ticket but she was floored in the nominations by George Gitiba.

The ex Vitimbi actress is single; in an interview with eDaily, Nyasuguta said she fears getting in a relationship because her father used to batter her mother.

The trauma she suffered while being raised in a violent family has made the former Vitimbi actress develop apprehension for men.

“My mother has been more of a single parent to me because my dad left our home when I was still young. My mother’s experience in marriage made me vow to keep off relationships. I love being alone. But violent relationships between my mum and dad fueled my decision to keep away from men who express interest in dating me. I fear being battered. It was tormenting to see my mother being beaten up by my dad. Worse still, having to cover up information about our parents’ fight to my fellow children who would hear my mum’s screams. Explaining to them what had transpired was difficult,” said Nyasuguta.

Nyasuguta however hasn’t completely given up on the idea of being someone’s girlfriend or even wife, she has some specific qualities that she’s looking for in a man. She said if she gets that Prince Charming then she wouldn’t even mind being in a polygamous marriage.

“I don’t like a talkative man, he would easily turn me off. I wouldn’t want to date a man who blends so quickly with my female friends. I revere a calm person. I am very jealous, for instance when we are hanging out with my friends, my guy should never stare at them (female friends). If he dares do that I would walk away from the date.

“I love attention, so long as I am wife number one, well taken care of and never lacks, I don’t care if my man marries other women after me. Mimi niko fiti. He shouldn’t contract sexually transmitted diseases from other women though. I fear STIs,” Nyasuta opened up.

Ex Vitimbi’s Nyasuguta dresses down top hype man-DNG after he told her the truth that turned to be so painful

Self-proclaimed number one hype man Davidson ‘DNG’ Ngimbuini struck Eunice Wambui aka Nyasuguta where it hurts the most.

A week ago DNG took a swipe at politicians who are asking the electorates to contribute towards their political campaigns. The hype man asked such kind of politicians to trash their ambitions if they didn’t have money to campaign.

DNG

“Watu wa siasa aka ‘ma-aspirants: Acheni kutuitia fundraising please. Whatsapp imejaa mainvite na maposter. Kwani tunakuwanga na nyinyi mkipewa mshande ya 850k? Na mnatugawianga mkisanya mkwanja? Nkt! Roho safi, kama hauna doh, sare jo… Achana nayo! Hii election ni ya pesa, la sivyo utembee door to door uconvince wazeiya,” wrote DNG.

Nyasuguta, who is eying Embakasi South MP seat on a Jubilee ticket, is among politicians who have asked the public to donate money towards their campaigns.

The former Vitimbi actress was irked by DNG’s sentiments, she replied to him arguing that even President Uhuru calls for fundraisers.

“Calling upon people to help you doesn’t mean you are poor. Even Waiguru, Uhuru and other bigwigs call for fundraising. Who is DNG to tell us not to ask for help?” Nyasuguta was quoted by the Star.
