Octopizzo to government: Legalize bhang. Even Ugali has side effects

Kibera rapper Octopizzo wants weed to be like cigarettes. Easily accessible, you can smoke it anywhere and most of all, cops won’t be all over you once you do it.

In short, the rapper wants the drug legalized.

Speaking in an interview with Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Pizzo said that everything has side effects even Ugali therefore, weed should be just legalized.

Coming from Kibera, Octopizzo confessed that he sold Bhang while still leaving in the slum to make a living.

“Do you think our leaders are doing the right job?” Asked Tuva.

Why not

“Wana try. Leader wetu pale mtaani naweza sema amejaribu. Amekua akisupport education, arts na pia kuna kitu ali table pale parliament ya ku legalize ngwai (bhang). Na hio niimportant sana,”said Octopizzo.

To which Tuva posed, “Why do you think ngwai should be legalized?”

Why not,” he went on.

Tuva: “Kwa sababu ina madhara.”

Madhara gani?” We ukinywa chai umewahi sikia ina madhara? Ushawahi sikia kitu inaitwa ganja tea?

“Ni madhara ambayo yanakuja baadae,” Tuva pressed further.

“At saa hii ugali ikiwekwa kwa roller uivute itakua na madhara because ni smoke. Ata ukichoma takataka…” he added.

Octopizzo’s sister is giving two contradicting statements, she cannot be trusted – Abom’s brother

Kibera rapper Octopizzo is currently fighting an ugly press storm following the mysterious death of a Strathmore student last week.

The rapper has insisted he’s not behind the murder of the 19-year-old ICT student, Kenneth Abom, who died on Saturday after jumping from fourth floor flowing an altercation with the rapper.

Kenneth’s big brother Antony has come out to claim that Octopizzo’s sister, who was in the house when it all happened, shouldn’t be trusted because her statements have been differing.

“By the time he came back into the house, he was disoriented and even talking to himself. Octopizzo was again seen by neighbours carrying a panga and threatened to use it on Kenneth.” he said in an interview with The Star.

Adding:

“Octopizzo’s sister is giving two contradicting stories. She is saying she let Kenneth in and in another statement, she says he knocked the door and pushed her in.”

Anthony said that they have been trying to get a statement for Octopizzo since then but he’s proving to be arrogant.

“We can only get the right information from Kenneth, but unfortunately, he is dead. And from Octopizzo, but he is turning out to be arrogant and rude. On Saturday I went to the hospital and requested to get the explanation from Octopizzo but he did not want to do it freely. We have even reached out to his management but he is arrogant, saying that Ken stormed into his house.” Antony said.

Father of Strathmore University student who died after fight with Octopizzo speaks out: He was very arrogant

Kibera rapper Octopizzo is in a very sticky situation after allegedly having an altercation with a Strathmore University student who later ended up dying.

Octopizzo is reported to have beaten up and chased around Kenneth Abom – an ICT student at Strathmore University – with a machete on Friday.

The young boy is said to have later jumped from 4th floor of their apartment block and died while in hospital two days later.

The father of the boy, Aggrey Abom, said that Octopizzo should have reported the matter to him or the police if he had noted something was wrong with him. He also accused Octopizzo of hitting the 19-year-old with a blunt object.

“If he knew there is something wrong with him, he should have come to us and told us what happened. Kenneth had a cut on his face. He (Octopizzo) took a blunt object there, which was used to hit him.” said the Dad in an interview with KTN.

Abom also added that Octopizzo was very arrogant after the incident.

“He was very arrogant. Yesterday he called bouncers there.” He added.

Didn’t hit the boy

Octopizzo has since denied involvement in Kenneth’s death, the rapper claims that he didn’t hit the teenager contrary to statements given by some neighbors who say they saw Octo chasing after the boy welding a machete.

No, I did not hit the boy. His father was the first person I talked to after the incident. I did not know what he came to do in my house. An hour later, we heard that the boy dropped from the fourth floor,” Octopizzo in a phone conversation with Standard.

The announcement comes just days after he announced another one, which he’s in partnership with Vivoo energy. Octopizzo has partnered with Vivo to release his set of gas cylinders called Oliel, a name from his latest song which became a topic of controversy after he bought YouTube views.

“OLIEL GAS OUT NOW ????? @vivoenergykenya @hashienergyltd@midlandenergysupplies call me Now if you want to sell this Franchise all over Kenya.”

Chipukeezy, Octopizzo criticized for their poor acts at TGRfest

Rapper Octopizzo has been bashed for attacking South African artiste Cassper Nyovest on stage during the TGR event at Ngong Racecourse. The rapper had a long rant on stage complaining that Kenyans value foreign artists than local ones.

“It has become a trend that many international acts who perform in Kenya take for granted the Kenyan audience, they arrive late and end up giving a lackluster performances,” he said amid applause from the crowd.

Cassper, whose pre-event his media conference had been postponed three times, did not apologize, but went on to deliver a performance that lasted less than an hour.

Chipukeezy, the MC of the show, was also attacked by rapper Jemedari who claimed that he was the wrong guy to give the job.

Here is what the rapper had to say:

Octopizzo steps in one of the biggest arenas in the world(photo)

We all know rapper Octopizzo has been targeting international market ever since he blew up. The popular rapper has been globetrotting a lot and has shared stage with many big names lately.

Recently, while on his usual trips to US, the rapper visited one of the most popular and coveted arenas in the world: Madison Square Garden.

The Garden is a popular dome in the US where many artists always dream of performing and filling the 20,000 arena. It’s also the home arena for NBA basketball team New York Knicks.

Octopizzo seemed excited to step on the arena and posted a photo on Instagram with his wife, taking a moment share how much he loves her.

“When a man realizes that his woman is a teammate and not an opponent that’s when his life changes. Fall in Love with your BestFriend ????‍♀️❤… NewYork ndio mi upeleka Mahari,” he said.

Khaligraph to Octopizzo: I’m thinking about working with Jay Z, Cassper and AKA, you continue rapping about me

Khaligraph Jones is not focusing on his freenemy Octopizzo sending subliminal shots. He’s past that now. He claims he has a greater vision that needs focus.

People are trying to bring back the beef thing. They should realize that in the past two years, I’ve refrained from that. I was dissing with the guy like three years ago. It is 2018, I’m 28 years, I want to do collabos with the likes of Jay Z, Cassper and AKA. So taking me back to Octo limits my progression,” said Jones after getting word that Octopizzo has dissed him in new track.

Done with dis tracks

Asked whether he’s heard of it, Jones said he hasn’t had time to listen to it yet but it doesn’t matter.

“I haven’t had a chance to listen to it. If I get a chance I’ll listen to it. I’m always listening to people’s albums. Why would I respond to disses right now?

Khaligraph

“You know I’m the OG. If I was to diss a person, I’d have done that. Mimi siekangi mtu. Octo nimemueka on the side. I feel that story pulls me back. Octo is always dissing me in most of his songs but I never take it. If he feels like he needs to rap about me, it’s all good.”

The diss, which is in the track ‘Noma Ni’, Octopizzo attacked the rapper asking him to kill himself if.

“Niliwapeleka kaburini so, wanajua ni mazishi na kwa hiyo matanga yenu jo huskii tutadish. Na kama bado una-hate on Octopizzo kill yourself and die.”

Octopizzo: Don’t compare me to Nigerians. I’m better than them

With an album out, Kibera rapper Octopizzo is making the necessary noise to get people looking.

The rapper has released his latest album “Next Year” which is only available on iTunes. During an interview with Kiss’ Adele Onyango and Shaffie Weru, the rapper said that Kenyans always talk about supporting their own but then only go for Nigerians.

He told Kenyans never to compare him to Nigerians because he’s better.

“If you are really a supporter of good music, and people have been complaining that there is no good music out there saying that Nigerians music is quality, then I do not see the reason why you are complaining.

“I do not know any Nigerian artiste who is doing doper music than me or doper videos than me. If the album is too expensive, then changisha and have my whole album,” he said on Radio.

Invested huge amounts

Octopizzo also addressed why his album is so expensive saying that he’s invested a huge amount of money to come up with something of quality. He has worked with international producers to give it the international feel.

“Well, I am an expensive dude, this is not a cheap thing, I have invested so much in itI payed for it with own money. Let them not compare me with people who have their own record labels who just distribute nothing more. I see people spending a thousand bob here, so I do not think that it is a big deal for them to spend that on seventeen tracks.”

Octopizzo works with highly sought-after international producer for new banging album

Rapper Octopizzo is also looking at the international market not just local. This means he has to work with other international names to bring the expected standards when releasing new music.

He went for the best.

The Kibera MCee has teamed up with Chris Athens, a highly respected producer in the US who works with mega stars like Rick Ross, Jay Z, Nas, DJ Khalid, Young Jeezy and many other to master their albums.

Octopizzo has finally launched his new album, “Next Year” and he has been dropping track by track on social media which fans can buy. Physical copies are not yet available.

He took time to share a deep message on social media while launching his new track, “NomaNi”.

“Everyone wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die; I’ve traveled a lot in the past 12 months & everybody I meet is battling something that no one knows anything about.” he said.

“I’ve been going through my own shit too in different levels & aspects of life & through this journey I’ve come to realize that, the most important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all;The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort & convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge & controversy.”

Some of the projects that Chris Athens has worked on

Adding:

“There is neither happiness nor unhappiness in this world; there is merely the comparison of one state to the other. Only a man who has felt ultimate despair is capable of feeling ultimate bliss. This Album is dedicated to those of us who have always kept trying, those who have managed to break the Stereotypical Boundaries & Society Classism that they were born in,those who will always stay REAL ? even when it jeopardizes your Society status; This album was inspired by my Mama ? Khaligraph: I’m about to be 28 years old, I ain’t got no time for Octopizzo’s nonsense

It’s been almost a decade since the dramatic fallout between hip hop gurus Octopizzo and Khaligraph Jones. Back and forth the two have attacked each other in their music, interviews and social media posts.

But now, Khaligraph feels that he’s outgrown the drama and plans to put it in the past officially as he nears his 28th birthday.

“I’m always trying to refrain from such, reason being I’m trying to focus on more constructive things so uhmm Octo is as young talented guy. on some real though he is young talented doing this thing, and I have seen this guy from way back where he had nothing,” Said Jones in a Kiss100 interview.

“Just seeing him right now I feel happy for him, coz we both have the same kind of background. I’m from Kayole and he is from Kibera, and so I let the young brother do his thing, I have nothing bad to say about him. Uhmm we had issues back then, but I’m about to be 28, so I ain’t got time for that right now.”

Not my house

Jones also clarified that he hasn’t built a 3 million house like several news sources reported earlier.

“No….I don’t even know, you know it’s funny how ..I just post innocently first of all let me just clarify that the house, is not even my house the house that you saw me in, I was actually doing a show in Kitale, so that’s where I was staying so that ain’t my house for clarification purposes,” he said.

Love in the air as Octopizzo goes all ‘lovey dovey’ on his wife (photo)

Even ‘bad boys’ can love and if you think I am joking then allow me to share the beautiful message rapper Octopizzo dedicated to his wife today when celebrating her as his #wcw.

We have watched some of his relationship fall apart and since he hated drama he always makes sure to keep his private life on the low. He is however a responsible father and despite having different baby mamas he always makes sure to look after his babies.

Octopizzo with his daughter, Akinyi

Away from that, he seems to have fallen hard for his wife who happens to be the mother of his daughter, Akinyi.

Earlier today Octopizzo sent this heartfelt message out to his wife talking about how hard he had fallen for her as she completes him in ways he cannot explain. He wrote saying,

Octopizzo with his wife

Never been happier, never been so motivated by another soul than this crazy human I call my wife. I feel like I’ve been split open and stuffed with sunshine. Acha nisiendelee juu naeza andika novel hapa. Kidogo nicry na si teargas #NuAfrika

Well, it’s certainly sweet of him to show this side of him we had never seen before.
