It comes at a time when every artiste is trying to treat their fans with something new for Christmas.

Style and delivery of Drip Drop

To start with, there is some great vibe in Drip Drop and the meaning is just well outlined. In the introduction part of the video, Oksyde comes to the scene through a slim tunnel where a shoe is passed to him.

Actually, he acts as the boss in the video. Another thing to note are the colours that have developed the video. This is all about creativity in the music industry.

The video is vintage and it is very unique from most work done by Kenyans. I mean this is just something that I haven’t seen in a long time.

Also, the singer has developed rhyme as a style in this Drip Drop jam. Oksyde has it well when it comes to mastery of words. Am I allowed to refer to him as the master of lyrics? Yes from Drip Drop Oksyde qualifies for the title.

Further, into the song, his style of rap is very unique and very close to what the likes of Drake in the international market do.

If Oksyde does not meet your needs in Drip Drop, then I do not know what your taste in hip-hop is.  Oksyde has perfectly proven that it is a good thing for one to work for quality.

In conclusion, he gets a rating of 6/10.

Toka Teke message and relevance today

Toka Teke is a jam that is simple to understand as it is taking on  competitors.

“Twende masaa, give them a run Twende masaa, give them a run.
Also, the song seems to be describing what they do as a gang. It is more of a diss song as they are clap back at their haters in the industry.

Although the video and the audio are well done, honestly in the song there is no vybe. Oksyde being in the game should bring something more serious.

For relevance purposes, it is okay for the collaboration but content wise it is a lie.  Toka Teke is so easy and just the simple rap. Seems like in this case there is an a new OG in town. There is more that Oksyde should do because he is a great rapper and no one will take that from him.

In conclusion, Oksyde and the crew only gets a rating of 5/10 in the Toka Teke jam as they did not deliver as expected.
