Otile Brown to Jalang’o: Stop always comparing us to Bongo artists

Vera Sidika’s ex-lover Otile Brown has called out radio presenter Jalang’o for once again comparing Kenyan artists to Bongo.

It all started out after the comedian attacked Khaligraph Jones for sharing Octopizzo’s new song on his instagram page. Jalang’o said that instead of sharing on social media, the two should actually meet for a rap battle.

He then went ahead and made the post that offended Otile Brown after he lined up Otile, Kelechi, Masauti and Iddi Singer and compared them to WCB singers in a post that insinuated the local acts were somewhat behind their Bongo counterparts.

“Do you know these guys Can take Wasafi head to head! Actually they are better! All they need is your support! What Do you think?” said Jalang’o.

Stop

Otile didn’t like this post at all. He posted a long message explaining why the post was demeaning to Kenyan artists and how artists should ignore it and focus on their hustle.

“Am not trying to attack you bro but enough talk about Wasafi, we are good stop making us look miserable and small with all these debates every time, artists from other countries are watching. We ain’t small like you all make it look, if we are not there we will get there,” Otile wrote.

Otile advised artists to work hard and everything will fall in place.

”I believe the more you work hard and smart the more you level up. And you can’t force anybody to support you or support what they don’t feel. There’s no other way around it,” he added.

Otile Brown: I’m a humble and very respectful guy but people keep showing me attitude

Singer Otile Brown recently took to social media to say that he’s a very humble guy but some people have been led to believe he’s arrogant and stubborn.

The singer shared that sometimes people are always after putting him down to massage their egos and though he’s a really humble guy, that pisses him off.

I have been in several situations where some people will approach me with a lot of attitude trying to boost their ego coz they’ve had or been told that I’m stubborn and full of myself later on they realize that I’m a very calm and humble dude and I eventually
make them look stupid. People will lie on you when they can’t take advantage or can’t have you do things their way. I’m a humble and very respectful guy, i just don’t play when it comes to business/my brand,” he said.

What you give

Otile concluded his short rant by saying that people should understand that what they give to the universe is what they get back.

“Be good.. The energy you put out is the type of energy you attract. Don’t judge from what you’ve heard but what you’ve experienced.” he said.

‘I wrote the song. He had no clue I was doing a song in the first place’ – Vera denies Otile wrote Nalia

Vera Sidika has come out to vehemently deny that her ex-lover Otile Brown wrote her debut song “Nalia” as reports have claimed.

Otile’s close pal revealed that their relationship was all fake and even Otile is the man behind her successful song and video.

“Their’s was a love that was brewed and put together for social media influencing.Vera used the drama to released her single Nalia. Otile is the one who wrote the song for Vera. Also, Calisa is Otile’s close pal, he hooked Vera with him to be the video fox in the music video. ” the source said.

No idea

Vera, speaking to Kiss, said that Otile had no idea in the first place that she was recording the song and that her management reach out to Calisa for the video.

“Otile never even knew I was gonna do a song. If anything why would he write for me a song that is dissing him? I wrote the song. He had no clue I was doing a song in the first place.” she said.

Adding:

“My management booked Calisah as a model for my music video since he’s a professional model. I had to fly him in from Tanzania. He doesn’t even know Calisah at all. Never met. Never talked. Knows nothing about him. Why would he claim he’s friends with him. He can’t just come out of nowhere and take credit for my work.”

Regarding her relationship, Vera denied it was stunt meant for their careers.

“The break up is NOT a stunt. We are no longer together and I will never get back with him. I have already moved on as a mater of fact, I’m seeing someone else.” she said.

Sources: Otile Brown wrote Vera Sidika’s song ‘Nalia’

Kenyans had been doubting Otile Brown’s relationship with Vera Sidika the moment it started and it seems they might have been right after all.

A close friend of Otile Brwon has come out to expose the two saying that they tricked Kenyans with the relationship to further their careers.

The source opened up to Dizzim saying that there was no love between the two at all.

“Do you know they used this fact to push their brands and get influencer business, tours and concerts just like that. Their’s was a love that was brewed and put together for social media influencing,” the source said.

Otile wrote her debut

The source also claimed that Otile Brown wrote his own diss song. Yes. Vera’s “Nalia”, which she released after the break up, was penned by Otile Brown.

“Vera used the drama to released her single Nalia. Otile is the one who wrote the song for Vera. Also, Calisa is Otile’s close pal, he hooked Vera with him to be the video fox in the music video. Hence the stunt of buying him a brand new pristine white Mercedes Benz.” said source.

Calisa was paid well for the gig and people in Tanzanian actually fell for the prank.

“The fact that the publicity stunt worked out so well and it was believable saw Vera gain fans in Tanzania just like that, without breaking a sweat. It also helps that she also sells out her weight loss brands as well,” the source added.

Vera Sidika and Otile Brown compete for Diamond Platnumz’s producer lizer classic’s attention

Lizer Classic, the legendary producer that has been making Diamond Platnumz’ hits since day one was recently around and it seems two people were really interested to make a hit with him.

Those two, are none other than Vera Sidika and Otile Brown.

The two have teased that they might be making some record hit with the popular producer soon after posting photos on social media together.

Otile Brown features Corozon Kwamboka’s sister in his brand new song

Singer Otile Brown is back with a new banger and this time Vera Sidika is not the vixen.

And just like in her instagram, Taurean leaves little to imagination in the video as Otile pours out his heart.

The one important thing ‘broke’ Otile Brown wanted Vera to promise before they start dating

Singer Otile Brown is now officially a man in love. And so is Vera Sidika. The two have formed a union that has brought about mixed reactions from fans with many happy for the them while some, like P-unit’s Frasha, not too impressed and rather worried.

Otile, who recently confessed that he might be “broke” but Vera loves him just like that, shared that she asked Vera to love him if they were really going to date. He wanted the relationship to be true and not like what Vera has been experiencing before.

Vera’s past

In the interview, Otile admitted that he was fully aware of Vera’s past and ill reputation, adding that they had a mutual adult agreement on how to go about their thing.

“Everybody wants Vera, but for me when we started I told her if you love me I’ll love you but if you play me we’ll laugh when you come back home but it will not be real,” he said.

Asked whether he’s ever cheated on Sidika, the singer denied. “I’ve never cheated on her, why would I cheat on her?” he asked.

Sanaipei speaks on marrying controversial singer Otile Brown: It’s not fake, When you’re getting married, you don’t tell the whole world

Singer Sanaipei Tande has defended photos of her wedding doing rounds online saying that they are truly from her wedding, though Kenyans remain skeptical with many insisting it’s just an upcoming video they were shooting with singer Otile Brown.

Photos of Sana in a white gown, in a wedding setup, have been shared recently online. Brown is seen putting a ring on it in the photos. It’s a move Kenyan artists have pulled so many times when hyping their videos but Sanaipei said this was something real.

“When you’re getting married, you don’t tell the whole world. Ni kitu ya chini ya maji, haiongelewi. Pregnancy ni siri. Ndoa pia ni siri. Ni mambo ya kurealise it’s an intimate thing, for close family. I’ve always been private on that sector of my life. These things are not shared,” she said in an interview.

None of your business

On why she went for a man younger than her she said: “It is none of people’s  business. People do what they want to do. Me, I’m not in anyone’s business, that is why it was a private affair.”

Otile Brown explains why he will not apologize to Bahati or take back his words

If there is an artist who has proved that he can pick a fight and not care about anything, then I bet it’s Otile Brown. The young singer yesterday went ahead to call out Bahati’s new song featuring Eddy Kenzo saying that this song had horrible lyrics and Bahati’s vocals needed some coaching.

Otile Brown’s post

Well, his post went viral as fellow artist joined in the comment section to laugh at his statement while others pleaded with him to pull down the post. Bahati’s fans also couldn’t keep their cool as they went ahead to give Otile Brown a piece of their minds too.

However, the unapologetic Swahili singer did not care about about their opinions and went ahead to reveal that his statement about Bahati’s song had nothing personal to do with their friendship or them knowing each other. He wrote saying;

Wacheni kumpotosha mwenzenu bwana ..am saying this with love , nothing personal .. ati natafuta Kiki ..Kiki ukwaju!! ?? narudia wimbo mbaya huo na nimejitolea kumuandika wimbo bure asinilipe chochote.✌️”

Zero chills: Otile Brown throws shade at Bahati’s new song and asks him to get some vocal training

Just when we thought Bahati had one enemy in the entertainment industry to worry about, singer Otile Brown comes out with guns blazing at Bahati’s new song leaving many wondering whether there is some new beef brewing.

According to Otile Brown the new song is nothing but a bunch of trash with bad lyrics and to top it up Bahati’s vocals need some professional training. The Kistarabu hit maker revealed this in a post shared on his Instagram page but judging from the comments he got…he later pulled it down.

Luckily we managed to get a screenshot of his post and one can also see King Kaka’s comment, which probably was to question Otile Brown’s post. Anyway, this is the first time we are seeing the singer pick a fight with a fellow artist but at the same time we can’t also judge his personal opinions.

    Otile Brown’s post

However, it is also unacceptable to bring down one of your own when the industry needs more support in order to reach to higher levels like what fellow Tanzanian artists are doing.
