Otile Brown to Jalang’o: Stop always comparing us to Bongo artists

Vera Sidika’s ex-lover Otile Brown has called out radio presenter Jalang’o for once again comparing Kenyan artists to Bongo.

It all started out after the comedian attacked Khaligraph Jones for sharing Octopizzo’s new song on his instagram page. Jalang’o said that instead of sharing on social media, the two should actually meet for a rap battle.

He then went ahead and made the post that offended Otile Brown after he lined up Otile, Kelechi, Masauti and Iddi Singer and compared them to WCB singers in a post that insinuated the local acts were somewhat behind their Bongo counterparts.

“Do you know these guys Can take Wasafi head to head! Actually they are better! All they need is your support! What Do you think?” said Jalang’o.

Otile didn’t like this post at all. He posted a long message explaining why the post was demeaning to Kenyan artists and how artists should ignore it and focus on their hustle.

“Am not trying to attack you bro but enough talk about Wasafi, we are good stop making us look miserable and small with all these debates every time, artists from other countries are watching. We ain’t small like you all make it look, if we are not there we will get there,” Otile wrote.

Otile advised artists to work hard and everything will fall in place.

”I believe the more you work hard and smart the more you level up. And you can’t force anybody to support you or support what they don’t feel. There’s no other way around it,” he added.

‘I wrote the song. He had no clue I was doing a song in the first place’ – Vera denies Otile wrote Nalia

Vera Sidika has come out to vehemently deny that her ex-lover Otile Brown wrote her debut song “Nalia” as reports have claimed.

Otile’s close pal revealed that their relationship was all fake and even Otile is the man behind her successful song and video.

“Their’s was a love that was brewed and put together for social media influencing.Vera used the drama to released her single Nalia. Otile is the one who wrote the song for Vera. Also, Calisa is Otile’s close pal, he hooked Vera with him to be the video fox in the music video. ” the source said.

No idea

Vera, speaking to Kiss, said that Otile had no idea in the first place that she was recording the song and that her management reach out to Calisa for the video.

“Otile never even knew I was gonna do a song. If anything why would he write for me a song that is dissing him? I wrote the song. He had no clue I was doing a song in the first place.” she said.

Adding:

“My management booked Calisah as a model for my music video since he’s a professional model. I had to fly him in from Tanzania. He doesn’t even know Calisah at all. Never met. Never talked. Knows nothing about him. Why would he claim he’s friends with him. He can’t just come out of nowhere and take credit for my work.”

Regarding her relationship, Vera denied it was stunt meant for their careers.

“The break up is NOT a stunt. We are no longer together and I will never get back with him. I have already moved on as a mater of fact, I’m seeing someone else.” she said.

“Ukiachwa achika!” Otile Brown disses Vera Sidika in new song

Otile Brown seems to have dropped yet a new song targeting his ex, Vera Sidika. This comes shortly after the former socialite revealed that the fella apparently dumped her after she refused to give him 500k.

As expected the two went on to parade their dirty linen on social media giving their fans a chance to enjoy the drama. Otile at some point denied asking for the money claiming that Vera Sidika was the one asking him to help pay for her high end saloon.

However, Sidika on the other hand shared screenshots from their conversations proving that the young singer was indeed asking for money.

Otile Brown’s diss track

Anyway earlier this afternoon the fella released a new song dedicated to her ex. Listening to the lyrics,  the singer goes on to say ‘ukiwachwa Wa homa’ which undeniably shows that he was targeting Vera Sidika.

Fans on the YouTube channel left hilarious comments while others saw this as a petty tactic to help spread his music. Anyway checkout the video below;
