According to Migwi, who is known not to mince his words, Khaligraph was attracting curses upon his life and generations to come because they had decided to mock God.

“Use of clergy clothings for entertainment more so for secular songs and for personal gain is totally wrong and it’s time for change. For your information this is the highest level of insult as far body of Christ is concerned,” the post reads in part.

He went on to add that the fact that local entertainers are after money and fame doesn’t they are allowed to get away with anything, including ridiculing God to fulfill their goals.

“I know you’re after fame and money but you’re completely lost, mark my words, you better repent and break the curses, God is never mocked. Woe unto you and your generations to come after you,” Migwi posted.

He asked Khaligraph to take the religious regalia to the nearest Bishop and ask God to forgive him for what he had done, adding that Church ministers have to earn the right to wear those clothes.

Prophetic message to president Uhuru: 2019 will be the year that your presidency will be really tested, expect the worst drought ever experienced

Man of God has come out to send a chilling message to president Uhuru Kenyatta and Kenyans in general just two weeks into the new year 2019.

Pastor Godfrey Migwi of the Hope Church has delivered his prophecy for 2019, he started by clarifying the biblical relevance of the number 19.

“The number 19, is the combining of 10 and 9, this where we are heading in this century, 19 usually denotes God’s perfect order in regard to his #judgment in the Bible. Including Jeroboam, Israel was ruled by nineteen (19) kings before God #allowed them to be #conquered by the Assyrians. They were conquered and taken out of the land as captives due to their many sins against the Eternal,” wrote pastor Migwi in part.

Drought

Migwi warns president Uhuru that Kenya will experience the worst drought in 2019, he says that Uhuru’s presidency will be really tested next year when things fall apart.

“The lord has spoken to me and tough times lay ahead in 2019 for Kenyans. First of all expect the biggest drought experienced in a very long time. A long drought that will throw the country in disarray and great suffering for the poor people of Kenya.

“Somebody actually needs to make sure this message gets to president Uhuru because it is 2019 that his presidency will be really tested. It is 2019 where he’ll be required to make tough decisions, the year where the citizenry will be looking up to him for saving and answers.

“So what do we do?  Will we just sit and wait for worst to happen? As it has been proven over and over again, God always hears the cries of repentant people and always changes his mind. It happened to the times of David and Solomon and it will surely happen again.

“So Kenyans need to take this festive season as not a time to get drunk and engage in all form of debauchery. This is the time to repent. Again this should be a time to pray and ask God for repentance. A time to seek his intervention because if we don’t…. Then FINISHED will even be an understatement!” wrote Migwi.

Congo and Nigeria

Migwi also urges Christian faithful to pray for Nigeria and Congo saying that the Lord has shown him blood flowing out of the two countries.

“To the prayer warriors pray and repent for Congo and Nigeria I saw blood shed in those countries while in Kenya and East Africa I saw drought. Last if all East African president will not come together and agree the spirit of togetherness will die, president of Tanzania from inside of his heart there’s no room of togetherness, may God help him. Shalom. God bless the church. God bless Kenya. God bless our neighbors.”

Pastor Godfrey Migwi who ministers at of House of Hope in Kayole has decided to act on his own and rehabilitate a public road using his own money.

The preacher has made a name for himself on social media for critiquing the government. Migwi recently called on president Uhuru Kenyatta to desist from taking Chinese loans.

Action speak louder than words

Pastor Migwi has now decided to rehabilitate a public road after he got  tired of calling on the county government to fix roads around his neighborhood in Nairobi.

The city preacher has been imploring the county government to fix poor roads but since his calls fell on deaf ears he decided to dig deep into his own pockets to fix the roads himself.

One step at a time. You can’t lead people with a greedy heart,” wrote Pastor Godfrey Migwi on Facebook.

Prophetic word from pastor Godfrey Migwi: The handshake could as well be the worst thing that has happened to this country

President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga shook hands at Harambee House on March 9th 2018 ending hostilities between the two rival political factions Jubilee and Nasa.

The handshake however saw an increase in cases of corruption. Pastor Godfrey Migwi of the Hope Church notes that the handshake threw opposition in disarray as nobody is left to offer checks and balances to possible government excesses.

“Even though most of us don’t even realize it, the handshake could as well be the worst thing that has happened to this country but still the other hand was good for our stability, peace and unity, so we need to check and balance. Let me break it down to you before you label me names.

Pastor Godfrey Migwi

“Now if you can remember keenly, before the handshake, no single scandal in this country could go unnoticed. Immediately it went down or even before, the opposition was up in arms raising the alarm on whoever cared to listen. And they would push and push especially on social media and this unearthing would lead to a great national debate. Uhuru and his government would have no choice but be accountable. But now in the event of the handshake, everyone seems to be on the same team. No alarms and no accountability whatsoever,” writes pastor Godfrey Migwi in part.

No Canaan without opposition in tow

Pastor Migwi fears the opposition could be working in cahoots with the government since they are now ‘eating’ together. He cautions that no country would ever get to Canaan without an opposition in tow to check the government’s excesses.

“Only handshakes which might just be avenues to share and distribute stolen loot and before we know it, our already deplorable country is no more.No country would ever get to Canaan without an opposition in tow, none! Any country without watchdog will go down slowly, and when the dog is silent which used to bark think twice as owner ,who’s the opposition leader in Kenya? , where are they and what are they doing ? Why the silence but my grandfather told me you cannot speak when you’re eating, and when i was in school my teacher told me it’s called table manners, okay.

“And we all better demand for one before it’s too late. My last question what happened to Bus rapid transit (BRT) along thika rd, God bless kenya,” wrote Migwi.

City preacher reads the riot act to female MPs after the drama at Kericho hotel involving Laikipia Women Rep

Laikipia Woman Representative Catherine Waruguru together with her husband were thrown out of Sunshine hotel in Kericho for failing to produce marriage certificate which is a requirement at the hotel for a man and woman checking in.

Waruguru came out to strongly condemn the hotel after the incident. It was thought that she was checking in with secret lover but she later on explained that she was a second wife to the man.

Pastor Godfrey Migwi has called out the Laikipia Women Rep over the drama in Kericho. The pastor who ministers at of House of Hope in Kayole, says women leaders in general have been engaging in sideshows instead of delivering service to Kenyan electorates.

“I want to correct our women leaders. Our women leaders are doing some things that are not good. We voted them in to work not to cat walk and talk petty issues. You cannot go to media houses and start condemning someone who is doing his/her business. Let that hotel man do his work. You want him to be chased away by locals. Am not supporting the hotel owner for asking marriage certificate, am not supporting that. But in every institution there are rules and regulations. So even if you are a leader you are supposed to obey those rules. To be a leader doesn’t mean you are above law, you can do anything, you can enter anywhere. Our women leaders you must change,” said pastor Migwi.

Change the constitution

The preacher also calls on the country’s top leadership to change the constitution so that the positions of women representative are scrapped.

Migwi explains that everyone is equal in the eyes of God and that there should be no seat set aside for women because it makes them feel entitled and act irresponsibly.

“Am requesting our top leaders, as time goes by we need a referendum to change the constitution. I think this constitution is heavy to Kenyans. As a leader in church, I advise our women leaders focus to the work that Kenyans gave you. We don’t need petty issues, we need people who will work.

“My advice is that this constitution need to be checked, and those seats that are special for women be abolished because we are all equal in the eyes of God. Everyone who wants to lead, he or she needs to go to the grassroots without any special treatment from the constitution. We don’t need a constitution that favors this gender. We need a constitution that equalizes everyone because i can see our women leaders because there are those permanent seats that are special to them now they can do anything, they can speak anything because at the end they know that seat belongs to women.”

“In Nairobi many are being harassed by county government officer’s , small vibada’s and kiosks which they used to fed their family are demolished, now where will they go?The duty of a leader is to lead, leading means to find a solution even in crisis, to give order and direction with a caring heart, it’s good to demolish illegal structures but again as leader it’s your duty to provide a solution to the one’s you lead coz you promised them , and that’s why they voted you in.

“I can speak without fear that Poor Kenyans are in the corner, but what I know when you force even a cat or anything harmless to the edge it come back to you with a force, if government will not find a solution at this time crime rate might be high. Thugs and hit squads will be all over,” wrote Pastor Godfrey Migwi in part.

World cup

The man of God also called out MPs who traveled to Russia to watch World Cup at the expense of Kenyan taxpayers. The preacher reminds lawmakers that it’s God who put them in position of leadership and it’s the same God who can remove them if people are crying about them.

“To our mp’s you are not leading us in the right path, you cannot leave Kenyans in pain when their kiosks, vibada’s, and shop’s are being demolished to go and enjoy yourselves in Russia by taxpayer’s money. To those who knows that prayers changes thing’s we need to continue praying for our leaders….
Dan 2 : 21And he changes the times and the seasons: he removes kings, and sets up kings: he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
If we pray hard some May be removed and God have many way’s to settle his peoples.”

City pastor claims Nyeri Governors are dying because they did not do this for the late Dedan Kimanthi

Popular city pastor Godfrey Migwi has revealed the reason why Nyeri leaders have been dying of late. Before the August 8th election Nyeri Governor Nderitu Gachangua passed on while receiving treatment at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.

3 months later the new elected Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru passed on in a mysterious road accident that happened on Tuesday, 7th November 2017.

His death is however believed to have been an assassination by a man referred to as ‘Angel of death’. However, one pastor Geoffrey Migwi believes that he knows what caused the death of both Governors.

The House of Hope church pastor claims the deaths are being caused by a curse that befell the county.

According to him, freedom fighter hero Dedan Kimathi was never given a befitting send off after he was killed by colonialists and this is how the curse is now affecting the county’s leaders.

Dedan Kimathi

What will break the curse?

Godfrey Migwi says that Dedan Kimathi’s remains should be found and given a proper send off. Apparently this will break the spell affecting them.

He goes on to give examples of Biblical leaders who were given proper burials by their communities. The pastor adds that with this, the Nyeri leaders will have nothing to worry about.

In his post, the pastor wrote saying;

“Truth must be told, I am just a voice in the desert which many can ignore but listen to me Nyerians with your leaders, you must bury your son as a hero because he suffered fighting”

City pastor now urges president Uhuru Kenyatta to release all prisoners in Kenyan cells, these are his reasons!

Popular City pastor, Godfrey Migwi of House of Hope Church has come out to urge president Uhuru Kenyatta to release prisoners who he claims have reformed or have been sentenced unfairly.

The pastor who has been very vocal in the past few months said this through his Facebook page attracting hundreds of comments from Kenyans following him on his social media pages.

In his post Pastor Migwi went on to say that he has had the chance to minister and mingle with some prisoners and so far has learnt that some of them did not received justice due to corruption and bribery. He wrote saying;

Pastor Godfrey Migwi

“I do a lot of work with prisons and there are horror stories of unfairness and injustices in these places. “People with good hearts were put into this spaces because of corruption and money exchanging hands. Some of them may have committed atrocities in the past but they have since repented and they should be given another chance to make right of their lives,”

Pastor Migwi went on to say that since they have reformed – some of these prisoners should at least be pardoned and sent out to mix with the public in order to see whether they indeed learnt from their mistakes.

“Your government can create a system where these people report to the chiefs and other institutions of authority to ensure they are behaving and if they dare go against the rule of law, then they should be taken back to prison,”

Though this may sound like the perfect idea, it is quite hard to determine whether our government is in a position to pull such moves…but hopefully everything will turn out just fine since a mistake is never a mistake until repeated twice!

“Mr President please pray for Kenya as a Nation” City pastor now urging Kenyans and the President to stay strong in prayers

Outspoken city pastor Godfrey Migwi is now urging Kenyans not to celebrate that Raila Odinga has stepped down. If anything he wants everyone to stay strong in prayers since things are not okay with the Kenyan politics.

This not being the first time pastor Godfrey Migwi is weighing in on political matters in the country, this time around he has not taken any sides but has come forth to remind Kenyans the powers found in prayers which will help find a solution to the issue facing the presidential seat which is being fought for by President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.

“Raila Odinga should be sued for misleading women to deny husbands their conjugal rights” says Popular City Pastor

If you have been keen on what most politicians say during their campaign speeches then I bet you can recall that on Monday the ODM presidential leader Raila Odinga urged women to hold back from giving their partners their conjugal rights on August 7th at an event he had attended at Homa Bat county.

This was to help to prevent them (Citizens) from over sleeping and missing out on voting the next day. The NASA leader said,

“We are going into a war and we must fully conserve our energies before the day of battle which is August 8th, none of us ought to have sex on the eve of the poll, this will ensure that we wake up early to vote and remain vigilant throughout the day until the results are tallied and announced.”

This came by surprise but is there anything they don’t say, really?

Anyway, popular city pastor Godfrey Migwi of House of Hope Church in Kayole has come out to mobilize other preachers to sue the presidential candidate, Raila Odinga for misleading women to deny their husbands sex until they vote.

According to him sex is part of marriage and even the Bible allows it. Therefore Raila Odinga’s statement is just another reason to promote divorce among young couples since it is misleading and deceiving on all levels. He said,

“The Bible is clear on conjugal rights, thus I’m mobilizing my fellow preachers so that we can plan on how to sue Nasa Presidential candidate Raila Odinga for the remarks. As preachers I’ve handled several cases where spouses part when one party denied another his or her sex rights thus he and any other leader ought not to be taken serious at all.”

Pastor Migwi went on to condemn the NASA presidential leader adding that sex will not be the reason why Kenyans will not vote as everyone is ready to bring change in Kenya.

City Pastor issues Stern Warning to President Kenyatta, fears his life could be in danger

With the elections around the corner, we can all agree that most Kenyans are afraid – a repeat of the post election violence that went on in 2007-2008.

Post election violence in 2007-2008 (photo courtesy)

However, artists, actors and many more have the taken the opportunity to preach peace to the youths and the old to avoid this from ever occurring again.

The important thing to understand is that life has to move on after the election. Peace should be observed in order to give the upcoming generation a better brighter future.

Away from that – one city pastor by the name of Pastor Godfrey Migwi has written an open letter to President Uhuru urging him to be careful with the people he mingles with since politics has turned out to be ugly. In short he fears that something bad may happen to him especially after the late Nkaissery passed on despite having been very healthy. He went on to say;

Pastor Godfrey Migwi

Tough times lay ahead if the recent occurrences in the country are anything to go by. First of all we lost the respected Cabinet Secretary of Interior General Nkaissery in way that as church leader i doubt that death if it was a normal death, something bad happened, many know handshake kills when poisoned, the enemy can use all means to finish someone politically or even taking someone life using all means, we all know that there is a bad poison used to kill someone when he/she inhale that poison, through kissing, handshake and etc, even conmen/women use poison to confuse or to kill whom they target, we have heard some of those cases……condolences to the family and I can assure the nation assassination have started flying around and they after the President and other leaders they can use any means to kill, we know you are man of people Mr president but now be vigilant, don’t shakehand with anyone untill the elections are over, Now this is serious issue, even if we are praying for you and the nation, to be watchful is bibilical It’s an election year and everything is bound to happen.

He went on to add….

And in that regard, as leader(watchman)and a
man of God want to send a caring message to
the president and His security agencies, That
being a critical time in our country, only 30 days to the election, it’s about time to took extra caution in his activities. Caution when trans versing the country scouting for votes and attending public gatherings where he’s known to greet and freely mix with the masses. We really appreciate his efforts alongside his deputy to demystify the presidency but it’s totally justified if he refrains from his usual ways, His security detail should also be extra vigilant around this time and watch out for any
suspicious behavior around the Presidency which is a National symbol.

Then concluded by saying;

That’s it from me and all the best to him as
seeks to re-election for the second time.
Truly may the best and the anointed man win!
