The song titled Noma has been getting a lot of love since it was released a few days ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it.

Vixy Chosen

Basically, this jam talks about the many challenges that we face in our day-to-day lives and how we can overcome them when we have faith.

The underlying message in this jam is that whatever you are going through, you’ll get through it because God never deserts his people.

I really love this track. Other than he fact that it carries a powerful message, after listening to it I know you’ll agree with me that it’s a masterpiece, especially now that corona virus is ravaging the world.

If you are a big fan of Boss MOG – like myself- then you know that he is an amazing singer. His vocals on this jam are really on point.

Although it was my first time listening to a song by Vixy Chosen, I must say that he is also a great artist. He has an amazing voice and you just want to keep listening to him.

The instrumentation on Noma is impeccable and we have to give it to Safri Records for coming through on this joint.

One of the things about this jam is the video. It’s a masterpiece ladies and gentlemen. In the video, Boss MOG can be seen vending charcoal in the streets of Huruma to in attempt to depict how bad things are.

The song “Noma” has been produced by Safri records, a record label initiated by singer cum entrepreneur Ephantus Kamau aka Ephantus Safari.

Safri Records, is one of the fastest growing record labels in Kenya with musicians like David Wonder, Dar Mjomba under its wings.

The record Label boasts of a state of the art studio situated at Spur Mall, 2nd flr RM S21 along Thika Road, Exit 13. The studio producers vary depending with the style or genre of music.

The song titled Bado, which a Swahili that loosely translates to ‘not yet’, talks about the fact that many people are not where we they want to be but they’ll get there with God’s grace.

In as much as it was my first time listening to a song by Randa Boy, I must say that I was not disappointed, he really has it in him.

The hook for this song is totally dope and we have this upcoming artist to thank. His verse was also awesome.

The hook goes like, “Wanasema nimepata mi lakini bado, wanasema nifika mi lakini bado, (na tucheze, na tuimbe *4).”

As expected, Boss M.O.G also did a good job on this jam. There is something unique about his voice that makes you want to listen to him over and over.

He can also vary it from a deep baritone to a tenor and if you ask me, it is the reason why most people can’t get enough of his songs.

Although the video concept was very simple, seeing as it was shot on the streets, it’s actually great. The scene transitions and editing was also astounding.

We also have to give it to the audio producer for the good job. If you listen to songs because of the beat, then you’ll definitely enjoy this jam.

Boss M.O.G is back with a new jam ‘I’m Grateful’ and we love it (Video)

Former M.O.G member Paul Onyango, alias Boss, has dropped a new jam and we are really feeling it. No, like really!

Dubbed I’m Grateful, the new song talks about being thankful to God for the things that he has done in your life, it doesn’t matter whether they are small or big, you ought to appreciate.

Boss really came through with his alto or is a baritone voice (I honestly can’t tell) in this jam. The song almost takes you back to the days when M.O.G was at the peak of their career. You’ll wish they never parted ways. I digress.

I’m Grateful is a beautiful praise song, it is a song that all of us can relate to since we all have something to thank the man above for, whether it’s good health, a source of income, a family and whatnot.

I really liked this jam. I won’t even lie. I, however, felt that that the the he said ‘I’m grateful’ too many times. Let’s just assume that he wanted to drive the point home or else we’d never forgive him for being so repetitive.

The song was directed and produced by Bcamp Music which is owned by Boss and in my opinion, the execution was good. I particularly love the simple shoot location that they picked, is that a dam or a river? I have no idea.

Former MOG singer opens up about a one night stand that left him paying child support for another man’s baby!

Gospel singer Boss from former group MOG recently opened up about an experience he will never forget.

The singer who has been releasing songs once in a while spoke to SDE narrating how a certain lady, Tina from Swahili Jazz band conned him for 3 years.

Apparently the two started off as friends but little did Boss aka Paul Onyango know what she was planning. Well, as expected the two became closer over the months and found themselves attracted to each other which led to getting intimate.

However, in his defense Boss says that this was a mistake; something that shouldn’t have happened since their were no feelings involved.

The truth is that we had sex but it is not like we were lovers. No, it was one of those things you find yourself in. Something you do and wish to forget. That was just it.

Baby onboard

Anyway, with that single night Boss became a father  as told by Tina. The singer says the lady kept calling and threatening to expose him and since his career was on the line, Boss chose to take up responsibility in exchange for her silence.

He says he dedicated his entire life to providing for his child and would send the lady at least Ksh, 10,000 to 15,000 and on a bad day 2k when he totally had nothing.

But what’s surprising is that he never got to meet husband child. Boss says Tina always had an excuse for keeping him away from his child but when he recently became persistent to meet his child; the lady confessed that the child was not his.

Just like any man, the gospel singer now feels betrayed and played for years as he helped raise another man’s baby. Tina on the other hand remains unapologetic as she went on to confess that Boss was not the only fella helping her with bills!
