The track dubbed Yeah has been getting a lot of airplay on radio and TV stations since it came out a few days ago and to be honest, we are also feeling it or else we would not be reviewing it, would we?

In this track, Chidi Benz proves that he is as good as he was in the early 2000s. Apart having a good flow, the Wange hitmaker also drops some heavy punchlines that will leave you scratching your head.

To be honest, this jam made me miss the days when Chidi Benz was still Chidi Benz, when people would listen to him religiously like he was the Messiah. That was long before he battled drug addiction and had to take a break.

Notably, Nikki Mbishi also has a great flow. I often find myself wondering where he disappeared to because it’s been a minute since I heard a new song from him. Anyway, that’s a story for another day, isn’t it?

The beat is also dope because it’s do subtle thus allowing you to appreciate the lyrical prowess of the rappers. To add to that, its tempo blends well with the flow of the rappers.

This song just flows and if you are a fan of the guy like myself then I’m sure you will have it on your playlist for a very long time.

The song dubbed Serious Genius simply talks about his prowess and how he has managed to stay relevant for such a long time in the industry. He’s literally rubbing it on people’s faces!

In as much as it’s full of self-praise, I really love this track because Chidi Benz flow is totally on point. To add to that, he’s also singing.

To be honest, this jam made me miss the days when Chidi Benz was still Chidi Benz, when people would listen to him religiously like he was the Messiah. That was long before he battled drug addiction and had to take a break.

This song just flows and if you are a fan of the guy like myself then I’m sure you will have it on your playlist for a long time.

The beat for this jam is also commendable. Although I feel it was barely audible. From the little that I heard, I could tell that the producer didn’t come to play plus it also blends well with Chidi Benz’s vocals. Props to him.

Chidi Benz makes grand comeback with ‘Black Ninja’ (Video)

Tanzanian rapper Rashid Makwilo, popularly known as Chidi Benz, has dropped a new joint and we are really feeling it.

The song titled Black Ninja simply talks about his lyrical prowess and warns others to be wary of him since he is one person who can take out the enemy easily.

To be honest, I am so indifferent about this track because I have always been a fan of Chidi Benz. Part of me feel that he really let his fans down.

The lyricism is so uninspiring and as you listen to the joint nothing will make you feel like this was the creative chap that we once knew.

On the other hand, I feel that we should take it easy on him because he is trying to re-establish himself after battling drug addiction for many years. Maybe he’ll pull up hi socks with time, just maybe.

I also did not like the beat. I felt it was really sloppy bear in mind that I understand what they were trying to achieve but to be honest, they didn’t even come close.

The only thing that’s worth talking about is the video which was directed by Adam Juma. He nailed it. As you watch it, you get the feeling of a Black Ninja in action but then again maybe it’s just me.
