Samson Kamotho Chege was run over by vehicle while he was celebrating Uhuru Kenyatta’s win. Celebrations rocked Jubilee strongholds after IEBC declared Uhuru winner of repeat election on Monday October 30th at 5:30 pm.
The 14 year old was hit by a car along the streets of Mchanganyiko estate, Bahati, Nakuru county. The accident happened when Samson fell off a lorry only to be run over by a car.
The lorry that Samson was riding on had music system entertaining hundreds of residents who were celebrating Uhuru’s win.
The KCPE candidate was rushed to St. Mary’s Mission Hospital in Gilgil following the accident. The 14-year old broke his limb during the accident.
Samson sits for KCPE exams
Samson was supposed to sit for KCPE exams at Lenana Primary School. The accident forced him to sit for his exams from the hospital bed at St. Mary’s Mission Hospital .
