We must fight the social stigma associated with denouncing abusive marriages – Saumu Mbuvi´s public outcry

Embattled baby mama, Saumu Mbuvi has never shied away from giving a piece of her mind on topics that involve abusive marriages and domestic violence.

Probably because she has been there and doesn´t wish to see any other woman go through the rough roads like she did, especially if she can be a mentor to them.

Through social media, she vocalized her stand for victims of domestic violence and abusive marriages who had the courage to call it quits and stand up for their rights.

She insists:

We must fight the social stigma associated with walking out to avert increased cases of homicide.

Lessons

In yet another of her long posts, Saumu remains grateful for her past that taught her lessons that have made her the woman she is today – one who fought for what she deserved.

Today I can proudly say I honor my past for being my teacher , I was just a young girl with a wild heart and didn’t know who to turn to,every time I wanted to give up and say I had enough something in me couldn’t stop fighting ,fighting for a better Saumu ,fighting for my future ,fighting for what I deserve …

Sadly for her, she recalls individuals who tried pulling her down, people who saw her happiness as a threat to their well-being.

Fortunately enough, her faith in God kept her strong and going.

so many people tried to bring me down with words and my happiness was always their heartache ,people would find ways just to bring me down ..but I new what God placed in me was so special and I know he is not yet done with me ..life will always give you a chance , a chance for a new beginning,a Chance for the best version of you and God ,God will always be God , his love is everlasting ,doesn’t choose your race nor your status

Her punch line reads:

You can and will do this ! Always remember that
