Popular NTV drama series Auntie Boss comes to an end after 8-year mark in the industry

The popular Kenyan sitcom, Auntie Boss will unfortunately no longer air on our screens following a major announcement.

Moonbeam Kenya, the production team that handled the weekly NTV show broke the news to fans on their Instagram page, announcing “It’s a wrap on Auntie Boss”.

This is after 8 solid years of streaming with a total 22 seasons and hundreds of episodes whose rib-cracking yet captivating scenes will forever remain to be remembered for their uniqueness in the industry.

A popular TV comedy-drama series that went on air every Tuesday night on NTV.

The announcement came with tears as fans wondered what was going to become of them especially now when shows like Auntie Boss kept them company and lively amidst a pandemic. So what now?

This is after taking a break in April 2020 reportedly over Covid-19 rules before resuming on Wednesday, June 24. Barely 3 months later, it is now completely gone.

The popular TV comedy series that aired weekly on NTV would tell of the lives of domestic househelps in a local estate and their everyday drama as it revolves around the families they work for and activities within the neighborhood.

Basically a reflection of the relationship majority of househelps have with their bosses here in Kenya. The film featured among Kenya’s outstanding stars including Eve D’Souza aka Varshita, Sandra Dacha aka Silprosa, David Opondoe aka Mayweather, Maqbul Mohammed aka Donovan, Nyce Wanjeri aka Shiro, among others.

Actress silprosa reveals how much she weighs leaving fans worried for her health

Silprosa is proud of the woman she has since become. Speaking to Jalang’o a few days ago, the stunning lass opened up revealing unknown details about her private life.

For instance not many knew that she was defiled at the age of 9 years; and despite having to carry all that baggage around – she chose to embrace herself!

As seen on the comment section from Jalang’os interview with Sandra Dacha; many fans went on to relate with her story while others chose to use this to inspire themselves and others.

Silprosa reveals her weight

Anyway as much as she has touched many with her story Silprosa recently went on to reveal how much weight she weighs; leaving fans worried and shocked for her health.

According to the lady, she weighs a whooping 123kg and is happy about it. However what she may fail to understand is that with such weight; one is exposed to heart related illnesses, diabetes among other life threatening illnesses.

With such a revelation Silprosa also attracted mean comments from fans. One went on to compare her weight to that of a cow; but looking at the clap backs he received… I’m pretty sure he took back everything he said.

Well, it’s also up to Silprosa to know whether she wants to lose her weight; or will continue maintaining her current body.

Silprosa started off her career as an actress a few years ago; however it took time before she finally got her breakthrough with popular TV show Auntie Boss!

Judging from her attitude and of course big curves, there is no way fans would overlook Silprosa; as she brought nothing but laughter in the show which ended up scooping an award.

Well at that time Silprosa was still playing her role on the show but since her time to stardom was yet to arrive; the lady played it cool by entertaining fans through her personal page.

Big women can slay just like most petite women! And thanks to a couple photos of Silprosa dressed in a tiny outfits; we now believe that whether big or small all that matters is confidence when it comes to dressing.

This past weekend Silprosa was trolled after posting new photos dressed in nothing but a two piece bikini as seen on her instagram page. However a few characters here and there could not hold back from fat shaming her; while others congratulated her for having embraced the person she has since become.

Everyone has a story, of a past that wasn’t all rosy but one that you look back at and remain glad you never gave up on.

Sandra Dacha alias Silphrosa is best known for her starring career in TV drama series Auntie Boss that saw her rise to stardom, live a much better life and become an envy to many.

Unfortunately what majority are not aware of is her dark past, a time she could only afford to live in a mud house, not in the rural areas but somewhere in Kenya’s capital where she would pay a monthly rent of KSh100.

Life was kind enough to later afford her a iron-sheet house, double the monthly rent, where she would make her income by selling food and beverages to manual laborers around her estate. The sewer would pass right outside her door but she lived there and never complained because that is what her pockets could afford her.

Her stone house

Light shone on her after she moved to a much better place and into a stone bedsitter and for her, she had made it in life. Recalling those days, the actress shared a throwback photo of her sitted by the door, in her self-contained house, lost in thoughts. Penning;

The year was 2012. I had now moved to a “mawe” house. Rent was 500 per month????

But today she looks at this photo, with tears rolling in her eyes, not that she regrets her past, but because her tremendous growth ever since then can never fully be expressed in words.
