Love

The celebrity power couple has always been one to reckon with. They only leave so much detail for the public eye and hold the rest dearly.

Right from their relationship to their marriage, very little has been known about them let alone anticipated for.

Up and close with ‘Salon magazine’, the couple disclosed intimate details of why their life has been kept under wraps for so long, and still is.

“We keep to ourselves and rarely post about each other apart from special occasions. Anything precious is best kept hidden and that has been our policy,” they said.

Chance

Wahiga didn’t lose hope however and went on to pressure her for a date. Omondi confessed that after he went on Twitter to share his admiration for her, that’s when she finally gave him a chance.

“Then my first song called conquerer came out and he started tweeting me publically, ‘my celebrity crash is Joyce Omondi’, then after that, I just responded, then I invited him to my birthday party, he came and that was the time we actually met,” she said.

Lit

Speaking on the Trend, she opened up about her man likes a lot of “noise” while she’s a down low person.

“Waihiga is an extrovert. He is lit. Me, I’m all about quietness. When you come in the house and I’m alone, I’ll have one electronic turned on. Waihiga will have the news on, he is listening to music and then he as like a laptop and he is working. To me that’s chaos but for him, that’s how he functions,” she said.

Omondi and news anchor walked down the aisle in 2015 in an exclusive wedding.
