President Ruto Urges MPs To Promote Saudi Healthcare Job Opportunities

President William Ruto expressed concern at the low number of applications received for healthcare vacancies in Saudi Arabia during a recent government retreat. Despite government efforts to publicize the 2,500 available positions, only 500 applications were submitted, prompting the president to call for greater action from elected officials.

Ruto emphasized the role of Members of Parliament in informing their constituents about the opportunities. He highlighted his own efforts to promote overseas employment opportunities for Kenyans and questioned why MPs weren’t actively encouraging applications.

The president further highlighted the apparent contradiction between some MPs lobbying for government positions for unsuccessful election candidates while overlooking readily available job opportunities for ordinary citizens.

Addressing Concerns and Emphasizing Importance

While acknowledging the media coverage and public discussions surrounding the vacancies, Ruto questioned the level of awareness and engagement from MPs. He stressed the importance of proactive action, considering the significant number of Kenyans seeking employment and the potential benefits of these opportunities.

Ruto Scolds Meru Youth For Heckling Elected Leaders

Deputy President William Ruto on Friday, January 26, 2024, was forced to scold youth in Meru after a part of them heckled him during his speech.

A visibly upset Ruto warned the residents that it was not yet time for elections for them to heckle elected leaders. Ruto was also responding to heckling by residents against Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza.

“I don’t want this kind of politics. It is bad politics. I want to give you jobs, not come here and heckle leaders. We are here to discuss development for Meru. I don’t want this behavior anymore. I don’t want people to heckle at a presidential rally. It is disrespectful. I want every leader to be respected,” Ruto said.

He blamed the Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition party for heckling and causing chaos in political meetings.

“This behavior is from Azimio and ODM. We don’t want ODM’s words at UDA and Kenya Kwanza rallies. This behavior of heckling should end today. We don’t want this nonsense. We want a united country.”

He was speaking in Kiutine, Meru’s Igembe Central Constituency, after opening St Mark’s Ndoleli School and commissioning the institution’s administration block.

He was accompanied by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Meru County Governor Kawira Mwangaza and MPs and MCAs from the larger Meru region.

Ruto is on a three-day development tour in Meru, with a focus on Igembe North, South, and Central.

He is scheduled to launch several development projects during his tour and also engage in discussions with county leadership.

In his speech, Ruto promised to create jobs for the youth, improve education, and provide healthcare for all. He also pledged to support Meru farmers and entrepreneurs.

Ruto’s tour is part of his campaign for the 2022 presidential election. He is running on a platform of unity and economic development.

Ruto Defends Progress On His Promises, Says Transformation Journey Is On Course

President William Ruto has dismissed claims that he has not kept his promises, insisting that the country is on the right track to a better future.

Speaking to a joint sitting of Parliament, Ruto said he is committed to delivering on all of his pledges to Kenyans, and that the “PLAN” economic transformation agenda is already bearing fruit.

“The journey of transforming Kenya for future generations is well underway,” Ruto said. “From the first day, we have worked hard to move the country forward, despite challenges.”

Ruto’s critics have argued that he has failed to deliver on key promises, such as creating jobs and reducing poverty. However, the President has defended his record, pointing to progress on a number of fronts, including infrastructure development, agricultural modernization, and social welfare programs.

“We are making steady progress towards our goals,” Ruto said. “We are not perfect, but we are committed to working hard to build a better Kenya for all.”

Ruto’s speech comes amid growing economic challenges, including rising inflation and unemployment. However, the President has vowed to continue implementing his plans for economic transformation, even in the face of adversity.

“We are determined to create a better future for all Kenyans,” Ruto said. “We will not be deterred by the challenges we face. We will keep working hard to build a more prosperous and equitable country.

President Ruto’s mother covers up indecently dressed journalist

Sarah Cheruiyot, the mother of President William Ruto, showed wonderful maternal concern by reaching out to writer Zipporah Achieng.

Achieng was handling a camera while wearing a short, bodycon dress at the time of the incident, which happened at an event held at the Uasin Gishu county administrative building.

Mama Sarah acted right away out of concern for Achieng’s convenience and comfort. She approached the young journalist and covered her with a Maasai shuka, saying she was concerned Achieng could have trouble stooping to pick up any fallen items.

Mama Sarah quietly sat back down after carefully putting the shuka around Achieng’s waist, leaving the bystanders amazed and intrigued.

Achieng quickly left the gathering while still donning the shuka in response to the circumstance. To everyone’s surprise, she then emerged a short while later dressed in a blue trouser suit. It soon became clear that her leaving wasn’t a protest but an attempt to address the issue and express her gratitude.

Michael Ollinga has provided the speech spoken by Mama Sarah.

Achieng moved to the dais where Mama Sarah was seated as she was overcome with regret and gratitude. The two women gave each other a warm embrace as she drew near, their smiles beaming with appreciation and love.

“I was wondering, with that short dress, how would she be able to pick up that camera in case it fell down. I chose to bless her,” she said.

The guests found it to be a moving moment that served as a reminder of the power of empathy and understanding.

Mama Sarah explained the motivations behind the act, stating that she wanted the young journalist to be able to perform her tasks in comfort.

Jonathan Bii, the governor of Uasin Gishu, received a visit from Mama Sarah, during which he also gave title deeds to locals.

Atwoli among Ruto’s Gazetted 7-Member Panel to Recruit New DPP

President William Ruto has gazetted the names of seven individuals who will be responsible for recruiting the next Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

The panel is composed of a diverse group of individuals with experience in law, law enforcement, and human rights.

The members of the panel are:

  • Francis Atwoli, secretary general of the Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU)
  • Shadrack Mose, Attorney General
  • Mary W. Kimonye, former judge of the High Court
  • Mary Adhiambo Maungu, former director of public prosecutions in Bungoma County
  • Roseline Odede, High Court advocate
  • Richard Onsongo Bush Obwocha, former candidate for the post of DPP
  • Twalib Abdallah Mbarak, CEO of the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission

The seat of the DPP became vacant following the presidential appointment of the previous incumbent, Mr Noordin Haji, as Director General of the National Intelligence Service of Kenya.

The position is currently held in an acting capacity by Mr Dorcus Oduor, who was Mr Haji’s deputy.

The panel will be responsible for advertising the position of DPP, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews.

The successful candidate will be appointed by the President with the approval of the National Assembly.

The DPP is a critical position in the Kenyan government. The DPP is responsible for prosecuting criminal cases on behalf of the State.

The DPP also has the power to direct the Inspector-General of the National Police Service to investigate any information or allegation of criminal conduct.

The DPP is a powerful position, and the selection of the next DPP is an important decision.

The panel is expected to complete its work within the next few months.

President Ruto Maintains Kenyans Should Contribute To Affordable Housing Levy

President William Ruto on Tuesday called on Kenyans to contribute towards the proposed housing levy, saying that it is a necessary step to address the country’s housing deficit.

Speaking in Nakuru during the Kenya Urban Forum 2023, Ruto said that the levy is a way of pooling resources together to build affordable housing for Kenyans. He said that the government cannot do this alone, and that Kenyans must also play their part.

“Many people are asking me, ‘Mr President, who told you we need houses?’ So many people hawana kwao (don’t have homes),” he said. “They have nowhere to go. Many people cannot connect the dots between housing and jobs. More jobs will be created through this programme.”

Ruto said that the housing levy will be a small contribution from Kenyans, but that it will make a big difference in the lives of many people. He urged Kenyans to support the levy and to help the government build a better future for all Kenyans.

The housing levy is one of the key components of the government’s affordable housing programme. The programme aims to build 2 million affordable houses by 2022. The government has already started building some of these houses, and it is expected that the levy will help to accelerate the construction of more houses.

The housing levy is a controversial issue, and there is some opposition to it. However, Ruto has said that the government is committed to implementing the levy, and that it is necessary to address the country’s housing deficit.

The Kenya Urban Forum is a three-day event that is being held in Nakuru. The forum is bringing together stakeholders from the public and private sectors to discuss issues related to urban development in Kenya. The forum is expected to come up with recommendations that will help the government to improve the quality of life in urban areas.

President William Ruto Explains Conspicuous Weight Loss

Netizens have been inquisitive about President Ruto’s tremendous weight loss over the last couple of days. His weight loss has been conspicuous to majority, considering he was growing bigger after being elected as The President.

In a recent media interview at State House Nairobi, the president was asked why he has lately shed some weight, months after taking office.

In his response, Ruto calibrated the pressure that came with campaigns towards the 2022 general election forced him to have irregular eating schedules, sometimes finding himself over-eating or eating at odd hours.

“I had an original fit that ran amok the last one and a half to two years. We went into elections and you know when you have elections there is a lot of pressure, sometimes you take out the pressure on food,” Ruto said.

The president vigorously campaigned for his presidential election which saw him win the election.

He said the campaign period was hectic, as one would forget to eat due to lack of ample time.

Ruto’s tax: Fuel set to increase by 12 shillings!

President William Ruto’s effort to bring back an unpopular fuel tax that his predecessor was forced to drop reveals leaders’ double-talk on a topic of great public concern and rekindles the politics that surround petroleum pricing.

Kenyans have been advised to prepare for higher living expenses starting on July 1 in the event that a proposal in the Finance Bill 2023 to subject petroleum items to a 16 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT), up from the current 8 per cent, is put into effect.

The responsibility of promoting the Bill in the House will fall to the National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah and Budget Committee Chairman Ndindi Nyoro, who will effectively be whipped into passing the controversial law that they adamantly opposed in 2021.

The day Jalang’o insulted Raila about why he moved to Ruto’s camp

Let’s drag up some old sentiments. Jalang’o has been accused by staunch ODM supporters, the guys who voted him into the seat as Lang’ata Member of Parliament of being a traitor after he went to the Statehouse to have a meeting with President William Ruto.

Fans tear Jalang’o a new one for “betraying” Raila

This is something that flew in the face of the very position his party and the coalition they are a part of stand for. And it runs the risk of making him a 1 term member of parliament just like Jaguar, yet another celebrity who became Starehe Constituency’s MP.

Multi-talented media personality, Felix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o

When he was taken to task for his reasons for visiting and eventually allying himself to the very opposite of his political party, risking his career for the same issue, and he defended his decision in a rather cheeky manner, mocking his party leader, Raila Odinga, the godfather of Kenyan politics by saying,

Jalang’o has sealed his political fate

“I went to (President) Ruto for advice on how to win elections.  You know the President has never ever lost in an election so there is a lot to learn from him because he always wins whether he does it by stealing or any other means. I am now picking useful tips with the aim of becoming the first person from my community to become the President of Kenya. One day you will remember me as that young man from Gem constituency who became the President of Kenya.”

And you wonder whether or not he has shot himself in the foot thinking after he gets bundled out of ODM, Kenya Kwanza or UDA will be willing to turn their back to Nixon Korir in favour of Jalang’o.

Details leak about how Ruto and Raila truce was made

According to details only now surfacing, Ruto and Raila met for a quick meeting that bore the fruits of the truce that saw the Monday and Thursday mass protests cancelled. And it was a very top-secret meeting.

Andrew Kibe calls out feminists for missing Maandamano Monday

The two political juggernauts met to in a top-secret meeting that not even members of the ruling coalition were aware of including the Deputy President, Riggy G.

According to reports, on William Ruto’s side, only 3 people were in on the know and these people were: Interior Cabinet Secretary, Kithure Kindiki, Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen and Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot.

DNA, watu sio wajinga! Stick to music content, not macro-economics

And on former Prime Minister Raila Oding’a side, the two people who were in the know were his running mate Martha Karua, Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

This explains why getting to a truce was done so quickly as there weren’t many conflicting interests and they were able to focus on the issues on the table.

President Ruto’s Antics- Where Are We Heading?

President William Ruto isn’t feeling the heat from netizens who are sharing their different sentiments on whether his moves are worth-it. A significant number of people have complained that the cost of living has gone higher in the few months he has been in office.

Recently, he lifted the ban on GMO’s (Genetically Modified Organisms, citing there is no conclusive evidence suggesting that the modified crops are harmful to human health.

In his recent interview, he claimed that GMO’s are a way of increasing food supply and that he would never allow anything that harms Kenyans;

“I am a scientist, and scientists world over are in agreement that GMOs are not harmful to human beings. There is no evidence suggesting GMOs are harmful to human health. There is no woman who has grown beards because of consuming GMOs. I haven’t grown breasts despite taking GMOs regularly,” said Ruto, adding: “As the Head of State, I won’t allow anything that endangers the lives of Kenyans.”

Of course his sentiments have been denigrated heavily by Kenyans On Twitter; not forgetting that the cost of so many products has gone significantly higher; like electricity. Similarly, the return of transaction costs in bank-to-mobile money transfers and, more critically, higher school fees, will squeeze Kenyans harder.

Netizens are already planning a Nation-Wide strike to complain of the high cost of living under Ruto’s Government. Do you think we will have brighter days or dull days under the current Government?

“Huyo ni mtu wa mkono kama Nyinyi!” Netizens react to DP William Ruto’s meeting with local artists (Photos)

Truth is we all want Kenya to be unlocked especially now that hunger seems to be killing most Kenyans than Covid-19 is. With no jobs, food and most Kenyans drowning in debts; the Vice President William Ruto, this past weekend decided to host a few Kenyans celebrities; to talk about how he can help them since they depend on music, acting careers to make ends meet.

Willy Paul, Khaligraph Jones, Jalang’o among others meet Vice President, William Ruto

Of course this meeting was to show that despite the hard times we are facing; there is still hope as the Vice President took off sometime to sit; and talk with these celebrities despite his busy schedule.

The rest of Kenyans i.e mama mboga, waitresses; and others got to learn about the meeting later on thanks to photos shared by the likes of Jalang’o, Khaligraph Jones and others. For some reason, turns out that most Kenyans felt that this was more of a comedy show – rather than a light at the end of the tunnel.

Vice President addressing Kenyan artists

Netizens react

Looking at Jalang’os comment section – it’s clear to see that most Kenyans were not impressed by this meeting; and others went on to write insist that President Uhuru could have been the right person to sit down with.

DJ Joe Mfalme, Jalango and Pierra Makena at Vice President’s home in Karen

Well, this is probably because he is in-charge and instead of ‘wasting’ time with PR stunts; they should have thought this through first. Below are a few comments from Kenyans who cannot help but call out the PR stunts

“Repent before the wrath of God wipes you out like it did to King Herod!” City Pastor Godfrey Migwi tells Deputy President William Ruto

Popular city pastor Godfrey Migwi is not happy with the deputy president, William Ruto. This is after having to watch Malindi MP hon Aisha Jumwa praise the deputy president like he was God.

Apparently she went on to replace God’s name with Ruto’s – in a praise and worship song as others went on it to join as they sang along in honor of the Deputy president.

MP Aisha

However Bishop Migwi feels that this is something the deputy should apologize for. He goes on to give an example of King Herod who was severely punished for trying to act like God.

Jealous God

For this reason Bishop Migwi has gone ahead to write a letter to the Deputy president explaining a few things that might save him from the wrath of God.

DP William Ruto

He went on to write saying;

Letter to the Deputy president of Kenya ???????? Hon William Samoei Ruto

To the Office of The Deputy President, Harambee Avenue
P.O. Box 74434 – 00200 Nairobi, Kenya.

First is to greet you in the Name Jesus Christ the Name above all names

My massage is very simple and clear , it’s an advise to you and your die hard supporters please My honor stop them for praising you like God , the types of Aisha’s have gone too far, they must separate politics with blasphemous act Malindi Mp hon Aisha Jumwa did something unusual to the body of Christ by using worship song hakuna wa kufanana na Mungu to praise you, for sure you’re not god and I know you know that ,and everyone knows , why Mr Deputy president did you allow Mp Aisha to praise you like god when poor worshipers and church leaders cheered in your presence , it’s good for you to apologize to the body of Christ and you repent for your life, peace , and political journey sake
Read this verse in the Bible Acts 12:21-23: And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

King Herod’s story

King Herod died with belly disease for allowing poor People from tyre and Sidon to praise him like god just because he gave them food and they relied for him for food , so he was eaten by ???? worms and died

In the Jews history books Antiquities 19.8.2: and presently his flatterers cried out, one from one place, and another from another, (though not for his good,) that he was a god; and they added, “They said you’re merciful to us; for although we have therefore reverenced you only as a man, yet shall we henceforth see you as superior to mortal nature or god .” Upon this the king did neither #rebuke them, nor reject their impious flattery. But as he presently afterward looked up, he saw an owl sitting on a certain rope over his head, and immediately understood that this bird was the messenger of ill tidings, as it had once been the messenger of good tidings to him; and fell into the deepest sorrow. A severe pain also arose in his belly, and began in a most violent manner. He therefore looked upon his friends, and said, “I, whom you call a god, am commanded presently to depart this life; while Providence thus reproves the lying words you just now said to me; and I, who was by you called immortal or god, am immediately to be hurried away by death … And when he had been quite worn out by the pain in his belly for five days, he departed this life, being in the fifty-fourth year of his age, and in the seventh year of his reign.

In short Herod died in pain for allowing people to praise him like God, God never shares His praises and glory with anyone no matter the support he/she give to the people
Isaiah 42:8 My name is the LORD! I won’t let idols or #humans share my glory and #praise.

He went on to add saying;

Both Bible and Jews book recorded king Herod faced instant judgement even if sometimes God take time to judge
So please deputy president stop this people from praising you no matter the 2022 politics, politicians come and go, big leaders come and fade away .please again stop your followers for this blasphemous act
Blasphemy is the worst in the eyes of God , He is a jealousy God and consuming ???? fire

Hebrew 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Deuteronomy 4:24 For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.”

My theological teacher taught me that Jesus here on earth sung songs He never composed, No where in the Bible is recorded that Jesus composed songs but He sungs the composed ones meaning He loved and He loves songs , He praised Our Heavenly Father with songs , songs are powerful they belong to God of gifts not to the composer, we must respect songs that we worship God with ,its recorded Jesus sungs in the Bible so why jokes with songs Kenyans

Mathew 26:30When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

Paul and Silas new the secrets they opened prisons and broke chains by songs of praises
Acts 16:25-34 25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them 26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

Conclusion

As a fearless Christian leader , when am alive I must speak and I will always speak the truth no matter how it will hurt, to all this is not not politics, this pure truth we must respect God , we must respect His Name , we must respect His house , we must respect others and everything that belong to God, only Him to be praised, so hakuna wa kufanana na Yesu liwe liwalo , hawa wengine ni binadamu tu wasifiwe lakini si kutumia nyimbo za kuabudi wakapewa kazi ya kuongoza na lazima waajibike
Hi hayo
Peace ✌
From Senior pastor House of hope Church Int

“Politicians are not hustlers” Pastor Godfrey Migwi warns Ruto against riding on ‘hustlers’ tag

City pastor Godfrey Migwi is concerned about how politicians are taking Kenyans for a ride for their own gain. The House of Hope Church founder cautioned the deputy president against riding on the ‘hustler’ tag to gain political mileage.

The evangelist says that ‘hustler’ is a term associated with poverty whereas politicians who want to be called ‘hustlers’ are stinking rich.

Migwi further says that referring Kenya as a country of hustlers is like condemning the whole country to doom. He asserts that God has good plans for Kenya and its people and as such Kenyans shouldn’t allow to be called a country of hustlers.

“Hello Kenyans and good morning , already in the house God as I write this, the God I serve ministered to me , Kenyan’s don’t allow politician’s to name our blessed country hustlers Nation, they’re not hustlers they want to own us, they want to baptize Kenya as the land of Hustlers, if you name it you own it already, again hustlers is the Name associated with poverty and prostitution it’s not good name to call a blessed country like kenya, we are blessed land we are blessed people, we refuse our blessed country to be baptized politically in dirty poverty water,” wrote pastor Migwi.

Power in the name

Pastor Migwi also shared Bible verses to prove that there is power in a name. He says God Himself changed the names of some of his loyal servants including Abraham.

“Bible Verses why there is power in the #Name, God himself changed Abram to Abraham Sarai to Sarah Genesis 17:5 for them to be called His people and to use them even now we call Him God of Abraham, Jesus changed killer and terrorists Saul to Paul act 13:9 to own him for the sake of His own Gospel , then Adam named eve to wo-man after she was created to own her Genesis 2:23 , to own something you must name it first , many don’t know why wives changes their names to be called their husband name it’s a matter of owning, your childrens ,car, shamba, plot has your name, #power in the name,..God bless Kenya,” wrote Pastor Migwi.

“My son was involved in an accident at the same spot” Ruto tells mourners as SK Macharia’s son is laid to rest (Photos)

Ruto tells governors to keep their deputies busy to avoid incidences of them getting caught pants down in lodgings

Deputy president William Ruto has weighed in on the unfortunate incident that befell Kirinyaga deputy governor Peter Ndambiri.

Speaking on the last day of the devolution conference in Kakamega, Ruto said that idleness is the leading cause that makes deputy governors engage in bed activities.

“To avoid the great risk of the devil engaging idle minds in your offices, because you have kept your deputies jobless, is really risky. So please it is important that the relationship between governors and their deputies is worked out so that the devil doesn’t have the space to use any idle mind to drive any evil agenda,” said Ruto.

No one in particular

The DP absolved himself from appearing to condemn Kirinyaga deputy governor Peter Ndambiri in particular. Ruto said he was not referring to anyone specific.

Aerial photos reveal colossal scale of the DP Ruto’s 1.2 billion home which has a man-made lake (Photos)

William Ruto’s Kes 1.2 billion home in Sugoi, Uasin Gishu County has always sparked debate whenever it’s mentioned.

The DP denies his hacienda is worth 1.2 billion shillings. Ruto accused a local daily of inflating the figure when news about his home first emerged.

Ruto’s palatial home sits on a 20-acre parcel of land which he bought in Moiben constituency. Construction is yet to be completed but the scale of the project surely justifies the 1.2 billion price tag.

Man-made lake

The DP’s home as a helipad, swimming pools, library, gym, a guest wing among other lavish facilities. There is also a huge man-made lake at the hacienda.

The colossal scale of the DP’s stylishly luxurious home comes out clear in recent aerial photos. See the pictures below:

Police sniffer dogs taken to inspect toilets ahead of DP Ruto’s visit to the home of Nasa defector in Vihiga (Photos)

Standard procedure or Nasa defectors are being treated with suspicion? Photos of police sniffer dog inspecting a toilet in Vihiga has sparked debate on social media.

Deputy president William Ruto on Wednesday October 4th made his way to Vihiga county to meet with Nasa leaders who switched allegiance.

Ruto’s visit was meant to drum up support for Jubilee in a region that is the stronghold of Nasa and also the home of Nasa principal Musalia Mudavadi.

Some political leaders from Western including Paul Otuoma, Alfred Khang’ati, Moses Akaranga and Yusuf Chanzu joined Jubilee and vowed to campaign for Uhuru.

On Wednesday Yusuf Chanzu hosted Ruto at his home Mbale, Vihiga County for a public function. Police knowing Vihiga is a Nasa stronghold left nothing to chance.

Police sniffer dogs were brought in to supplement their human counterparts, the dog inspected everything including VIP mobile latrines that were brought to Yusuf Chanzu’s home.

“I will vote for Ruto in 2022 but now am voting for Raila”Donald Kipkorir reveals why he’s against Uhuru presidency

Flamboyant lawyer Donald Kipkorir has openly stated why he ditched his friend Uhuru Kenyatta in favor of a Raila Odinga presidency.

Kipkorir, a close ally of Deputy President William Ruto, stated that both Uhuru and Raila are sons of Kenya’s founding fathers but clarified that he will be voting for Raila because he wants to show that Kenya can still prosper without either a Kikuyu or Kalenjin president.

“Why I Am Voting Raila

“Most Kenyan votes vote along tribal lines without any debate, and I don’t begrudge. In 2022, I will vote for William Ruto without persuasion. But I will not vote because I hate other tribes or other candidates. I have never harbored any hatred or hate in my breast.

“The Presidential Race is now between two Princelings: Son of Jomo and Son of Jaramogi. Kenya’s two true Royal families. Majority of Kikuyus will vote for Uhuru, and Majority of Luos will vote Raila.

“Other tribes will vote for historical reasons and affiliations.

“Others will cast a negative vote; Voting for one candidate because they hate the other. Negative vote also cuts across the big tribes. Some tribes have been socialized to hate other tribes.

“I want to vote RAO not because of any of the above reasons. I consider both Princelings my friends though our backgrounds are as different as day and night. My vote is purely a mental trip …. I want to show that Kenya without either a Kikuyu or Kalenjin President wouldn’t be hit by an asteroid. And that Luos are just like you and I. When we all cross this mental bridge, we will be like Germany: holding General Elections and a global Marathon same day.”

DP William Ruto explains why he had no choice but to block Miguna Miguna and Cyprian Nyakundi on Twitter

Deputy President William Ruto decided to deal with popular blogger Cyprian Nyakundi and vocal lawyer Miguna Miguna by blocking them on Twitter.

Ruto blocked the fierce Miguna Miguna on Monday September 18th when the former PM aide went HAM on him in his tweets. Miguna kept firing at the DP even after he was blocked.

Twitter bigwig Cyprian Nyakundi was blocked on Sunday September 24th. Nyakundi is known to be very critical of Ruto’s political activities.

Speaking during an interview on KBC on Sunday September 24th, the deputy president explained that he was forced to blog the two critics because they were intruding into his family.

Ruto said he blocked Miguna because he had crossed the line by constantly attacking his family and him, something he doesn’t take lightly.

The DP made it clear that he does not like negative people on his timeline and when he finds someone who consistently cross the line they are blocked. He emphasized that tweeps needed to differentiate between him as a politician and him as a family.

Muhoho, who accompanied Deputy President William Ruto to a campaign rally in Nandi County on Sunday September 24th, struggled to articulate himself in the national language – Swahili.

The president’s son left residents shocked when he was called upon to give a vote of thanks in Swahili. He had to use his phone to read a short speech which made him sweat as he was struggling to read the speech.

Muhoho’s inability to speak Swahili fluently and coherently left many people laughing while other criticized him for what they termed as being deeply buried in wealth to even bother to know how to speak the national language.
