Africa’s desire has been to see Nigerian Afro-pop Queens, Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade work on a music project together, even if it’s just one.
In an exclusive interview with ‘Ndani TV’, Yemi Alade stated her position when it comes to working with fellow female songbird, Tiwa Savage.

Unfortunately, the same public that has been vigorously pushing for a collabo between the Nigerian Queens, is the same public that has been exhibiting the negative energy towards the two.
According to Yemi, she is not sure what ought to happen basing on the negative energy the public has been steering towards their collaboration.

The Woman of Steel feels it is better if they let the collabo go to avoid fueling more negative energy in their direction.
It’s unfortunate that with the troubles that people keep steering in our ways, it probably will never allow us to ever have a collaboration because you’re not sure the outcome would even be positive or be overrun by negative things and all the fights. When we do music, we do it so people can be happy, so when we do a song together, what are we fueling? What are we encouraging? That’s the most important question.
However, despite the close to ‘no collabo’ assurance, the two legendary artists are here for each other, to share the love and support each other’s works.
