Zzero Sufuri is by far the most versatile artist of the Gengeton generation. He is constantly showing us different facets of his talents. He raps to a whole plethora of instrumentals and he doesn’t maintain one solitary flow. He is a genius at harmonizing without singing or humming.

He first came onto the scene with his 420 anthem Zimenishika. And he has once more shown his versatility with his latest jam, Life which is a reminder to celebrate every aspect of what your life entails. That means the ups as well as the lows.

This reminds me of an Arabian saying I once encountered that read, “Many sunny days soon make a desert”. And this is a powerful reminder that we need bad days in order to make life worth living.

But back to the song.

It has a decidedly Jamaican Dancehall vibe to it from the instrumentals down to his delivery and flow. Zzero Sufuri pays homage to the culture by starting his rap with a Jamaican flow and doing so in patois. He reflects on the fact that he was born and raised in the ghetto by singing along in much the same way Akon did in his own song Ghetto.

Gengetone artiste Zzero Sufuri is for sure grasping every moment he has to penetrate into the Industry. The singer has teamed up with others in which they refer to themselves as Dagoretti’s finest 5.

The group of five has jointly released a new hit dubbed Latema.

According to the singer, Latema is a local love song. Also, its focus is on a group of guys in a matatu headed to a hangout invited by a group of girlfriends.

Actually, I must say it is such a great jam. Niko ndani ya Latema nitakatema is some great rhyme giving this song a unique feel.

Latema is a love song

Zzero Sufuri has no chills when it comes to his music. He is always dedicated. Honestly, the song is very clean and the words are well sieved. There is no BS seems the group was serious.

In this jam, Latema, there is a girl who is being described and the guys feel that they have hit a jackpot. Although all the others are doing well, Zzero Sufuri still has the idea of smoking weed.

There is sheng’ used to deliver the message and it is a good thing for the ghetto society who easily relate with the language.

In this age, it is clearly difficult for one to get a clear copy that is not talking about women. As many would argue that there is no talent here, I beg to differ because this is very unique. Imagine making a song from normal things that surround us.

Although the others behind Zzero Sufuri are not known to many, he himself is enough to represent the group. Also, talented singer has been able to compete with other Gengetone artistes who sing as groups.

In conclusion, Zzero Sufuri and his team get a rating of 6/10 in Latema.

Zzero Sufuri has treated us to an early Xmas song. This is just the most fun thing I have had today. Whatever he was high on then it worked for him.

To start with, the beats of this jam will draw to listen to the jam and also the title. But anyway this was crazy of a guy who has always sung some funny things.

Though he has named the jam Xmas song, you will be cracking your ribs when you hear what is in the lyrics. In short, he is planning to cheat since the girlfriend is not around.

Ati naskia kuimba zimenisha, Lol this is just some funny stuff here. How did he even craft this? What was in his mind?

The whole Christmas tune is just worth the repetition and is sure the chorus is very memorable. Imagine a Zzero Sufuri who is always singing about weed and here he is taking us to the Christmas carols?

Actually, the song might sound childish but it is the most hilarious thing today. The guy is talking like he is high on something.

I wish he can continue entertaining us like this. The background voices, this dude is just crazy in his own way. One man way and he is still giving the groups sleepless nights?

Or this is what we say Lazima zitushike Xmas? The song titled Nuclear in short can only be referred to as Xmas song.

I even lack words to describe the audios because this is just a hit in its own way. Xmas nuclear song is just simple but the message and power it contains it’s just awesome.

Zzero Sufuri is back with a great hit dubbed Its Ok. To start with, for the first time this guy has given us something sensible. I have replayed this jam a couple of times. Though not very clean, it is better than the BS they serve their fans.

He is the first among the ghetto artistes to bring something better. Zzero Sufuri has given the song a very simple title that is easy to identify with.

I mean how did he come up with ‘Its Ok’ as a title? In this tune, they simply mean it is okay to do what one likes and for them, it seems having the fun is their cup of tea.

Zzero Sufuri is talking about being free and have fun in ‘Its Ok’

In addition to the brief meaning, Zzero Sufuri in Its Ok is telling people to be free and do whatever they please. He even gives examples telling people if they like drinking or going down, then so be it.

Zzero Sufuri in the third stanza of Its Ok talks about having fun with those true friends. It is all about treating every day like a weekend and dance to the tune.

Zzero Sufuri has been featured in new jam dubbed Wisdom. Wisdom is the work of Michael Bundi who in this case has sought Zzero Sufuri a ghetto artist. Zzero Sufuri has done a couple of songs which currently are doing well for the ghetto anthems. I even lacking words to describe this kind of work.

Also this jam has used a style that will make you try to understand it. It is a mixture of Zzero Sufuri’s rap. This guy Zzero does so well. You all remember his jam Matishaa. It is a good thing to see him getting collaborations. Being a ghetto anthem artist going solo is a big deal. Remember he is competing with people who are in groups.

Michael Bundi on the other hand is well talented. Come on good people and promote this young generation. The duo’s voices complete each other for this jam Wisdom.

Who is Michael Bundi in ‘Wisdom’?

It is a good thing that we seek to understand what this Wisdom is all about. Michael BunDi is the epitome of Versatility and Adaptability.

Despite being crowned “King of Covers” by his loyal fan base. Michael Bundi has proven that he is equally as good with his original compositions.

He has also proven to be the most hard working artist in the world, releasing a song on his YouTube Channel every week. He is also very adaptable to every music genre ranging from Hardcore Hip-hop to Sweet and Silky Good Ole Country Music.

Michael Bundi is motivated by the need to heal, teach, transform and comfort through his music. Being a depression survivor, his passion is to build a worldwide organization that helps people deal with depression.

In conclusion, the song by Zzero Sufuri and Michael Bundi Wisdom is very to understand. It is simply describing the kind of wisdom. The jam gets a rating of 6/10.

Zzero Sufuri the King of ghetto anthem is back with a new jam dubbed Manzi. The jam comes in a few weeks after his last release. Manzi is a sheng word to mean a female lover. Zzero Sufuri has been doing so well in his music. Even though there are a lot of his kind of artists him being alone and still standing is a great deal.

Message in ‘Manzi’

This new jam talks about the importance of having a girl; ‘Hakuna kitu fiti ka kuwa na manzi Manzi manzi Alafu bahati nzuri uko na ganji Ganji ganji‘. The theme is so simple. He goes on to say that you have a girl and by luck you have money. What has money got to do with a girl?

‘Kam nicheze na hizo ndenge za kwako Nikuonyeshe we ni mrembo kuliko hadi sistako Siku hizi, mi ni morio hadi wa mathako Buda yako nitamhepa aki ndamsho mi ni kigosho’. This sounds like a typical Kenyan dude who is stealing honey. The guy seems to be doing something wrong. Most of the fear fathers.

Relevance of the ‘Manzi’

This song is only relevant to the boy child. It is at a time when most go through a lot because they have to fight for girls with sponsors. He says that if he had a girl and also if he had money. Also, the target audience is well outlined. Zzero Sufuri targets the youths in this jam Manzi.

The song is Zzero Sufuri’s original writing. This guy is creative. Also, the audio is dope and the mixing well done. Everything is clear. The song Manzi has been produced by Brayo Wise.

Ghetto anthem artists are like ‘Small Kiosks’. It is a time when new age music is really taking over the Kenyan music industry. This is the kind of music that we refer to as ghetto anthems. We are a time where content does not matter. Everybody is singing about sex, drugs, women and twerking.

To start with, today everybody is forming a group in their hood and before we even know it they have a song. It is said that music is an art and it goes hand in hand with talents.

We have producers who have really tried to promote our musicians and it is a good thing. We are only lacking honesty to tell people that what they are singing is trash. First, we need to ask ourselves which direction our music should go.

Why are they Like small kiosks?

To start with we all know what kiosks are. This are small structures either in an estate or at the side of the road. They are so many that they have to compete for customers. In the same ghetto anthem artists can only be compared to kiosks. Why? Today we have more than 10 groups all singing in the same style.

With this I call them kiosks because we are tasked to choose where we should buy or invest our energy. I mean look at all this people

There is a question that all these groups need to ask themselves. What makes them unique from the other group? If they cannot answer this then they are as good as dead. Common sense dictates that they will be out of the market even before they know it.

You know that music is a competition. We as the fans are the judges in this case and all we will have to do is say may the best team win.

Even the shops when the consumers are tired and not interested in whatever is being sold they shift making the other shop to close. In the near future we will be forced to listen to only one group.

Why so?

If all this group stick with the same style then we will have to chose from others. They only need to restructure their music before their target audience is tired. I will pose these question here, Who do you think will carry the day in this ghetto anthems in future?

Be the judge. Do not argue with me on this because you’ll later come to confirm this when maybe only Ethic or Sailors or Ochungulo will take the day. Am not a prophet or a judge but truth be told.

Zzero Sufuri brings you ‘Chuki Na Doo’

Chuki Na Doo is Zzero Sufuri’s new jam. This guy is on a releasing spree. He has shaken the internet with three jams over the weekend. Zzero Sufuri is really working so hard to keep his fans entertained.

Doo is a sheng’ word that is used to mean money in the ghetto. Chuki Na Doo simply means that he has some beef with money. Anyway who has got any hatred for money?

Zzero talks of how he struggles to get money but he does not get it at the end of the day; Cheki Niko na chuki na doh Niko na chuki na doh Niko na chuki na doh Ju mi huzisakaga na sipati hizo doh.

Message in ‘Chuki Na Doo’

To start with, this song simply brings out what the normal youths go through in search of a livelihood. I approve this song and I feel that it has some sense.

Niko na chuki na doh, zilost nazipata kwa show Bila show siwezi pata hizo doh Kwani form hukuwa gani hizo doh zikilost. This line is kinda true to most artists. They have to get some shows for them to make money. Zzero Sufuri goes ahead to ask his fans a question.

This one is so deep. Chuki Na Doo is just very real. Whoever advised Zzero to do this is a genius.

In addition to the great message there, the producer did a good job. Chuki Na Doo was produced by Brayo Wise from Global Oak Media Solutions. The audio and the beats are excellent. On this one he gets a rating of 7/10.

Zzero Sufuri is back this time with Matiati. This kind of music is becoming the order of the day. If you know what I mean it will be very easy to understand this jam Matiati.

This is what I call childish singing. But anyway we all have a different taste in music. Matiati comes in after Zzero Sufuri dissed Ethic.

The kind of language used here is slightly coded and others words very vulgar. This is more of a club banger and also easily understood by the youth. Ghetto anthems need to be restricted.

Message in ‘Matiati’

Nakuwanga fete, twende twendete Shaka machete, jibambe usitete Si,. In this stanza, it simply shows that the song is all about having fan.

Also, there is that part; leo ni siku yako mami Kam tukawatoke tukakule kingwai Na bado ukinijenga sitabaki ati ati ati. Although he uses sheng’ it is easy to understand that bhang is referred to as kingwai. I leave you to find out what the rest of the words mean..

You are not gonna miss this stanza; Cheki, mambo Lucy napenda hako ka pussy Kakue ka brown sanasana tu keusi Kako na tunywele tusoft ka tausi Ni karefu sana mi hukapimaga na uzi na. This is very vulgar. He talks about about a female sexual organ and describes how he wants it to appear like.

Anyway, is this what the society wants to here? Seems like sex has to appear in most of his work to sell. What does Zzero Sufuri measure? This is crap.

Production

Although the song is crap, we must also recognized that the audio is well done. It is so clear and well mixed. The only thing that will make you dance to this song are the beats. Magix Enga has delivered as a producer.

Who is still for play Kenyan music? This Matiati is at a rating of 5/10.

In conclusion, someone needs to tell this kids to up their game so as to be in the industry for long.
