Top celebrities throng VDJ Jones’ lavish birthday party (Photos)

Renowned turntablist James Achido Onyango, popularly known as VDJ Jones, recently turned a year older an he threw himself a colorful party to mark the auspicious occasion.

The event, which was held at Klub Eclipse in Ruiru, saw the attendance of many local celebrities, especially artists, who have been groomed and introduced to the music industry by VDJ Jones or worked with him.

They include; Mbogi Genje, Masterpiece, Dennoh Rix Roro, Dede, Wakali Wao, Mejja, Mavo On The Beat, Mr. Seed, Jeshi Jinga, Joefes, Team Psycho, Kash Keed, Mash Mwana, just to name a few.

VDJ Jones, who is an alumnus of Multimedia University (MMU) in Rongai, has played a huge role in propelling and popularizing the Gengetone sound both as a producer and a disc jockey.

In 2020, he left his fans tongue tied after revealing that he would vie for the Nairobi Governorship position in 2022. Time will tell if he was indeed serious.
