Kenyan bred DJ Calvince has been at the nexus of music, philanthropy, community aids and night life over his years as the go-to DJ in Dallas, Texas, USA.
DJ Calvince is one of the most sought-after DJs in Texas state; he has staged performances for a wide range of local and international acts. He recently featured as the main special guest DJ during WizKid’s tour in Dallas.
DJ Calvince also prides in sharing performances with Jaguar, Wyre, Nigeria’s Davido, I octane, Dexta Daps, Vershon and many other super stars who’ve embraced a taste on his electric skills.
The ambitious Dallas based mix master is also working to be among the best event organizers/hosts in Kenya and abroad.
Talk of philanthropy, DJ Calvince hasn’t forgotten about his native Kenya. The US based DJ has initiated a project in Kibera slums to benefit talented youth.
DJ Calvince alongside Kenya’s Kris Darlin have embarked on a journey to support young musical talents in Kibera slum by setting up music talent academy with the aim of tapping raw talents in the slum.
DJ Calvince has partnered with Homeboys Music Technology Academy to support his project in Kibera. As a Sociology graduate, Calvince is applying the skills he learnt in school to bring people together to achieve a common interest.
