Wakali Wao, who in my opinion are some of the underrated Gengetone artists in Kenya, have a new jam and we can’t get enough of it.

The song dubbed Urao epitomizes the growth of the group that is made up of Kim Swat and  Iano Ranking since they made their debut on the local entertainment scene with Madam sometime in 2019.

Like I always say, if you chose not to concentrate on the dirty things that they are singing about, you’ll actually realize how talented these youngsters are.

Urao is very infectious. I have listened to it a couple of times since it was released and every time I play it, it’s like I’m hearing it for the fist time.

Both Iano Ranking and Kim Swat have a unique ability to play around with words and make dope rhymes. To add to that, they also have a natural and impeccable flow that gets you hooked instantly.

It is so hard to pick who between the two artists had the dopest verse but if I had to chose then I would say it is Iano Ranking because he also laid a decent hook for this jam.

I am not saying that Kim Swat didn’t come through, far from it. Actually, he is my favourite between the two. I just resonated more with Iano Ranking.

The beat was produced by a chap known as Jamie Rylo and I must say that he did not let us down. The beat is catchy and I know this because I was literally dancing on my seat as I was writing this review. Kudos to him.

About the video, I think it is simple but still dope. The concept is good and I am happy it is not all about some ladies shaking their derrieres.

Watch Urao below and tell us what you think.
