Waluhya Priss!! Government warns Kenyans against traveling to rural homes for census

The government has Kenyans to avoid traveling to their rural homes to participate in the National Population Census.

Government spokesman Cyrus Oguna said that all citizens will be captured during the exercise regardless of their location.

No need

While we have seen in the past especially people from the Western region heading to their rural homes for long holidays and other government-related events such as registering for Huduma number, this time around, there’s no need for that.

“It is not a must for you to travel from one region to the other. You will be included in the exercise regardless of where you are as long as you are within the country’s borders. Even in those rural areas, there are some people who will be counted but they are not natives of those places,” stated Oguna.
