The Digi60 film Awards is a Canadian filmmaker’s festival that is held in Ottawa specifically for filmmakers. The main aim of this festival is to value the excellence and achievements of artists specifically their skills and capability in filmmaking. The festival was recently held on 18th December of the year 2018, when a large number of highly skilled and talented film makers had their work showcased and appreciated by being awarded a number of awards.
Among these achievers that were celebrated on that day was our very own east African cinematographer, Alois Nashali, who managed to scoop two awards for his work at the festival. The first award that was awarded to Alois on the night is the best film documentary category, the second Award that he managed to take home on the night is the best director. Both of these awards were obtained from the documentary film titled Beautiful Cracked smile, which Alois worked on.
Although this might sound like his biggest achievement for this young African cinematographer Alois Nashali, these are not the only awards that he has won in 2018 and he further urges his fans to remain enthusiastic and further insinuated that people should remain eager and waiting for major announcements from him which his fans can stay connected with him through Instagram @beingalois for more updates and major announcements from him coming soon.
