Denning Edem Hotor is a Ghanaian chronicle craftsman and performer who performs under the name Edem.

Edem was conceived in Dzodze in the Volta Region of Ghana. Of two children, Edem is the main child and Wendy Sefakor Agbeviadey. The youthful Edem burned through the vast majority of his childhood in Accra and Aflao. He finished his essential and Junior High training at the Amazing Love International Schools. As a result of the auxiliary educational system in Ghana, he enlisted in Bishop Herman College for his senior secondary school training. He lost his mom at age 13. He was left with his father, a legal counselor, and his sister. He lost his father at age 16. His solitary close family right now is his sister. He grew up encompassed by music, extending from hip jump to dancehall, reggae and highlife.

By age nine, Edem was typically discovered beating on tables, void tins and any thing that could deliver great mood. He joined his first music aggregate in middle school.
