Mukudzeyi Mukombe, who performs under the name Jah Prayzah (conceived July 4, 1987 in Uzumba, Zimbabwe), is a Zimbabwean contemporary artist and lead individual from the band Third Generation. He is prevalently alluded to by fans and media as “Musoja”, the Shona word for “fighter”, a name he earned for the most part in view of his mark band uniform of military formal attire. The name “Jah Prayzah” originates from his name, “Mukudzei”, which signifies “Applaud Him”.

He was the last conceived in a group of five. As a young man he preferred written work, perusing his dad’s Shona books, swimming in the stream with companions, and chasing in the woodlands. Over and over he would return home with his shorts torn from all the climbing and enterprise. In particular, he got a kick out of the chance to sing. He sustained this propensity through singing at school gatherings and at chapel, and playing the mbira with his instructor. As he became more established and as his mbira aptitudes enhanced, Mukudzei Mukombe felt certain and motivated to seek after his interests in music. Mukudzeyi’s first involvement with making music was amid his initial a long time of high school. In 2013 he discharged his fourth collection Tsviriyo and won a NAMA grant for tune of the Year for the melody “Gotchi”. In 2014 he discharged Kumbumura Mhute. around the same time he won five NAMA honors and two ZIMA awards.

In 2015 he opened another studio and discharged his 6th studio collection, Jerusarema.

His most eminent work was a joint effort with grant winning Tanzanian craftsman Diamond Platinumz on his hit melody “Watora Mari”, which came to over a million perspectives on YouTube in under a month after its discharge. “Watora Mari” has delighted in gigantic airplay on MTV Base and Trace Africa. Nonetheless, the other melody, “Mudhara Vachauya” is the one being delighted in Zimbabwe.
