Moët & Chandon Toasts To The 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards

On Monday Night, Over 1500 Moët Minis were served to a roster of stars on the red carpet, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Maison’s popular philanthropic initiative, “Toast for a Cause”.

Celebrating its 28th anniversary as the official Champagne of the Golden Globes, Moët & Chandon toasted to Hollywood’s leading filmmakers and brightest stars during the 76th Annual Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Celebrities including Moët & Chandon Golden Globes Ambassadors Gemma Chan and Camilla Belle, Amy Adams, Glenn Close, Idris Elba, Luke Evans, Dakota Fanning, Willem Dafoe, Gina Rodriguez, Darren Criss, Laura Harrier and many more raised a celebratory Moët Mini in honor of their charity of choice – to which Moët donates $1,000 in the participants’ names. As a result, Moët & Chandon donated to charities including UK Refugee Project (Gemma Chan), Hispanic Scholarship Fund (Gina Rodriguez), Save the Children (Dakota Fanning and Luke Evans, Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher), California Black Women’s Health Project (Laura Harrier) and Theodore Atlas Foundation of New York (Willem Dafoe). Over the past decade the House has donated over $250,000 to over 150 charities.

For the very first time, Moët & Chandon took Toast for a Cause to consumers through a bespoke social media initiative.  Consumers were asked to raise awareness for their preferred of the top 3 charitable causes that stars toasted to in the last ten years — disaster relief, equal representation, and international aid.  Moët & Chandon matched the donation raised on the red carpet and donated it equally amongst charities representing these causes.

Throughout the evening, the French Champagne House treated guests to magnums of Rosé Imperial, Grand Vintage 2008 and debuted ‘The Moët Belle’, the official cocktail of the 76th Golden Globe Awards, created by actress and filmmaker Camilla Belle.  Elegant yet easy to make at home, the cocktail captures the beauty and glamour of Hollywood’s biggest night while drawing from Camilla’s Brazilian roots to highlight the international flavor of the evening.
