Amara Kanu Speaks on Being a Teenage Mum as she Celebrates her First Son

13 years after she had her fist child, Amara Kanu speaks on having a child as a teenager.

Amara Kanu, yesterday, took to Instagram to celebrate her son, Sean Kanu, whom she had on Valentine’s day, 13 years ago, while she was still a teenager.

The wife of one of former Super Eagles’ player, Kanu Nwankwo spoke of how she managed to go trough it all at that early age.

In the emotion packed post, she spoke of motherhood as the highest paid job as she sends her love to her son whom she said is now a teenager.

13 years ago today. I didn’t know what I was doing. How I was going to be a teenage mum amidst so many Internal and External critics. I was very career driven. How was I going to drop school and take care of my new Valentine baby ?? ????????? But I had faith. And an incredible amount of resilience that saw me through. I remember my mum telling me that what I had in my hands was greater. And then that’s when I looked down at his lovely head full of hair and let out a grateful sigh and this shot was taken. Picture Perfect.
