Fraudsters are Trying to Make Money from Our Father’s Death- Baba Sala’s Family Raises Alarm

The children of late comedian, Baba Sala, has raised alarm over attempts by some online criminals to make money out of the death of their late father.

This is as a result of a Facebook page that is currently asking for money from the public for his burial.

In a statement made by one of the late actor’s children, Reverend Adejumo, the account is fake. The family is not in any way connected to such account, as no PayPal account has been opened by the family to this regards.

Baba Sala’s son advice the public regarding making donations.

Anyone that wants to make donations, should come to the family’s home in Ilesha, he said. Such people are however, advised to come with the press and camera for proper documentation.

We have not opened any PayPal account or any online account. The claim is false information. The family has not asked for anything from anybody.

We have not met and nobody is soliciting anything from anybody yet. If we will be expecting anything from any fans, admirers or anybody at all, it will be freewill donation.

We have not opened any PayPal site or any intent account for people to donate to. Anybody who wants to donate anything to the family should please come to the family in Ilesa.

Such people can come with pressmen and take photographs to document it. They should have standard record and avoid fraudsters. They should avoid fraudsters, who are posing as members of the family.
