Is there a set rule to this regards?

In recent times, there have been debates as to the question; who pays the bill on a date?

While some opine that the male should man up to take care of the bills, others feel there is nothing wrong with the woman paying the bill.

There have been cases where ladies are left in deep disappointment because their men refused to pay the bills on a date.

This, most times lead to the crash of relationships as ladies are quick to conclude that it is the duty of the man to pay the bills.

Some of these ladies sometimes go as far as eating and making orders on impulse trusting that their men has got it covered.

Sometimes, even though the man is totally capable of handling the bills, he lays back to see how rational/reliable his partner could be. It is sad however as most ladies fail to step up to take chare of the situation where the man isn’t ‘capable’.

In fact, most ladies are left disgusted when the man fails to clear the bills; this is a red light for so many.

Even though ladies are prone to say that they are capable of doing it on their own, they often demand a man who can take care of them without them asking.

There are some class of men who considers a lady paying on a date, a slap on his face. These class of men see such women as the type that would want to rub shoulders with him in future.

Who should pay?

When it’s all said, let’s ask ourselves, is it a crime for a man to want a lady whom he can rely on?

Then again, is there a rule that the lady should always rely on her man hence a man must take care of the bills for all dates.

Should a woman pay on a date or should each take care of their own bills (split the bills) or should the one who initiates the date take care o the bills?

What are your thoughts guys; who takes responsibility of the bills on a date?
