Google, on the 13th of December released it’s statistics for top google searches in the ending year 2017. This offered a unique perspective of trends and events for the year 2017, in Nigeria. The search engine, showcased what people, things and places trended in the year under review.

At the top place, late actress, Moji Olaiya was the most searched person this year This, is as a result of her shocking death, few days after the birth of her child.

Notorious kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans, came in at the second place. This is followed by Banky W’s wife, Adesua Etomi.
