Nigerian Dancer, Pinki Debbie Breaks Guinness World Record for Longest Dance Marathon by Individual

Another Dance Queen has Emerged; Pinki Debbie!

Nigerian dancer, Odumewu Debbie also known as Pinki Debbie has broken the Guinness World Record. The dancer has broken the record for the longest dance marathon by an individual.

Beating the record of 123 hours and 15 minutes (approximately five days) by Indian dancer, Kalamandalam Hemaletha, Debbie has at 12:00am on November 23rd, 2017 danced for over 124 hours and is still dancing. She will be ending the challenge by 4pm on November 23rd, 2017.

The challenge started on the 17th of November at the Palms Shopping Mall and is expected to end on Friday the 24th.

Kalamandalam Hemaletha bagged the title at the Kerala Sangeetha Nadaka Academy in Thrissur, India from September 20 to 26 2010.

Pinki is a graduate of Policy and Strategic Studies from Covenant University. She started dancing at the age of six and says she draws inspiration from her mother.
