“Women should not go into marriage if they don’t have money”- Ali Baba

Ali Baba advises women should not go into marriage if they are not financially independent

The father of the Nigerian comedy, Ali Baba, advised women to not venture into marriage if they don’t have money. He said the era of financially depending on men is far gone. Read his message below:

Many of the men who also believed that women should not be financially independent were also everywhere. And with time, many of those men, where in places of authority and economic positions of influence. Such men also started to see that many women were a threat to their masculinity. And did everything to block them.

Like a woman can not bail anyone arrested. Women can not rent properties. They failed to accept that women were capable of pulling their weight when shouldered with responsibilities, BUT DID BETTER THAN THE MEN, who went head to head with them. And still play their roles as women.

In school, you will remember, if you want to be honest, there were ladies who were constantly in 1st to 10th positions. And there were heavy men, who were unashamedly in the 30th to 32nd positions. That was the start. It became more glaring that women can be equally smart and even smarter. Many of these men, were in any case being taught by women, as teachers, lecturers and professors.

So, gradually, the thought of a woman being DEPENDENT ON any man started fading. Especially when the men started having them as bosses, and learning under their feet. Humbling. However, it needs to be further emphasised in these day and age, that the days of a woman being DEPENDENT are gone. Or nearly gone.

So, it’s clear, that financial instability of women is the major reason many wpmen don’t get treated like they should. It turns relationships to cash and carry or business transactions. It also then makes many men believe, that financial independence will take away their power. Only WEAK MEN think like that. And women who think they must go into a relationship because its their only way to financial stability are the ones who empower them.

Ali Baba reveals why he can’t go into politics like his colleagues

Ali Baba reveals why he can’t go into politics like his colleagues

Comedian Ali Baba had an interview with the Punch and stated his reasons for not going into politics.

“I think Banky W and other entertainers running for political offices have a stronger belief in the system than I do. I don’t think there can be credible elections when the voting system is not credible. That has been my fear. Also, we are still practicing money politics, which means that an individual with the biggest pocket takes the slot.”

“I don’t understand why the person who used the maze to hit the head of his colleague in the Senate is still there. Once you have embarrassed the chamber, you should be thrown out. Why are they yet to prosecute the people who went into the chamber and carried the maze?  Why should it take so long to put people who said a snake swallowed money in jail? When the constitution is strengthened and the political scene is convenient for people who don’t use the money to contest elections, then I can go into politics.”

“The life of politics in Nigeria, is Money” Ali Baba says

“The life of politics in Nigeria, is Money” Ali Baba says

Comedian Ali Baba made a post about Nigeria’s politics, to him, it’s all about money.

‘The life of politics in Nigeria, is MONEY. Money is what determines who become an elected official. Period. And the reason anyone wants to be elected is the money. Thats why anyone who is going to come into politics to change that REALITY, will not be allowed to win’ he said.

Once you get into an office, and you are not letting people chop the money, you become an enemy in that system. You also must bear in mind that of the 2 terms you get, or are entitled to, you must make sure, that is ENSURE, that those who made it possible for you to be elected, recover their monies.

In Nigeria, today, as we speak, there are only 10 offices that have access to the kind of dollars that can change the course of an election in anyone’s favour. Our politics has been DOLLARIZED.

The offices: Ministry of finance, CBN, NNPC, BANK MDs, CUSTOMS, FIRS, NPA, NIMASA, PRESIDENCY, SENATE and GOVERNORS.

These are the people who can influence the elections at any time. The others who can also help to tilt an election in your favour, are billionaires in dollars. The reason, most people you see want to become governors of some states, is not because they have anything to offer, IT IS FOR WHAT FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OFFERS MONTHLY.

Federal allocation is why some are running for office. Let the constitution change, that your state must generate it’s own revenue, develop and harness all potentials, take care of itself & then pay FEDERAL government 30% of all the money it generated. The number of people who want to rule Jigawa, Gombe, Ebonyi, Taraba, Kogi, Kebbi, Ekiti… states will reduce. Because, they will have to find the revenue to fund the state.

How can a state that can not survive without Federal allocation, have a governor who lives and runs his government like he is the governor of Rivers State? With which money? That’s why they are shouting and refusing the minimum wage.

When it comes to carrying on like they are the governor of Lagos State, they will be answering, EXCELLENCY. But when it comes to paying minimum wage, they immediately remember that all states are not equal. But it’s ok to have 36 ministries like Akwa Ibom State, with 36 commissioners & S.S.A”

Ali Baba shares story of his failed revenue creation project with the Government

Ali Baba narrates how his job creation project wasn’t approved by the Government

Nigerian’s foremost comedian, Ali Baba took to Instagram to share the story of his unsuccessful project with the Government. See his post below:

“There used to be 2 islands in the body of water facing the 3rd Mainland Bridge… in 2003… I applied to lease it and make it a recreation spot. The idea was not approved. In 2007 I applied again… The request was not approved…. in 2012, when I made this visit (see photos) to the island, the second island of about 300sq Mt had disappeared. This was the last one. It had about 100sqmtr left. About 2015, the island subsequently disappeared. It’s still under the water there now but just as a high ground. I just stumbled on the email my Technical Partners from South Africa sent me and one line in their email hit me… “Mr Ali Baba, it’s incomprehensible that a Government can not see the potentials that you have proposed, in this project, with all the economic and international tourism values. We, sympathize with you and look forward to working with you on future projects. Bryan Helsing”

“Show me where the bible says anyone who smokes will go to hell” – Ali Baba

“Show me where the bible says anyone who smokes will go to hell” – Ali Baba

In reaction to clergy man Yomi Kasali who frowned at pastors that invite comedians to church, Ali Baba says:

“Show me where in the bible where the bible says anyone who smokes will go to hell? Were there cigarettes and tobacco then? The heart of some smokers is holier than some priests. The only vices some people have is of not following the command of moderation. A little wine is good for your heart.” These and many more lessons did I learn from this man Monsignor Martins. He told me, truly, human factor is always at war with the spiritual standards, But that the greatest standards between man and spirituality are human interpretations of spirituality. Thanks to Uncle Emmanuel Ijewere… who took me to him. One time he sent Uncle @iraborsoni to call me. It was during one of the harvest bazaars I worked at. He told Soni,… “tell him I am going, he should come and take his knock on the head, I have been carrying it around for too long. After today it will be more than one knock.” I went to meet him, and as I approached him, he asked why I was smiling… I said I just sold a cow to Chief Ojukwu (not #ikemba) 400k… and he said, “Ole ni gbogboyin and you are smiling abi? Just bring your head here, I’m in a hurry.” I lowered my head expecting a play play knock. My knees buckled. As I was rubbing the spot, he said go and sell more, the parish priest promised me 4 crates of eggs. And with that they drove off. When I got back, there was nothing I did not start selling from N20,000. Even a 25 litre of groundnut oil, I started at 25k. The chairman of the bazaar had to ask kilode. You see, there is nothing wrong with a sense of humour in the Christian environment. The problem is allowing people who do not know the limits of hilarity to desecrate the sacred institutions and it’s custodians. Humour is God sent. That’s why God is the God of Isaac. The application is the problem. The talent itself is not the problem. Having sex is not wrong. Having unapproved sexual activity is what is wrong. So banning comedy from the pulpit is a tall order. Nearly wrong. In fact a wrong way to go. Because, you can not, say no to comedy in church yet say yes to tithes and offering from runs, prostitution, bribery robbery and looting of government coffers… and so on and so forth.

Lagos Inferno: Ali Baba Blames Accident on Lawlessness

Ali Baba laments on the lawless nature of the country.

Lagos Inferno: Ali Baba Blames Accident on LawlessnessLagos Inferno: Ali Baba Blames Accident on Lawlessness in Lagos state yesterday.

According to him, it is the lawless nature of the country that caused it. We cannot pray away lawlessness, he said. The accident happened because proper measures were not taken to punish law offender, he said.

His words below;

In organized societies, where traffic is a major issue, tankers and heavy duty vehicles move at night or at specified times, In developed climes, MOT agencies… are as serious as the police force. In some other climes, that have deep shores like we do, only one port can not be used for discharge of staples like fuel, and even then, fuel and transportation of inflammable contents are done in controlled methods.

We are a Lawless country. If government tries to organize these same tankers now, they will go on strike shut down the economy and day to day running, and we will let them continue.  Same thing with teachers… Try to get them to go get retrained and be bwtter qualified to teach, they will strike and wr are back to status quo. We do not punish people who even chop monies meant for projects. Projects that have been captured in the budget and monies released.

The same people who chop the monies will now be in the ruling party and to prosecute them becomes a No No. And as nothing is done to them another person will do it. Just imagine. Nigerians died today because of avoidable precautions and failure to create policies and laws that have consequences that could have detered that tanker from being on that road. But no. Law makers dont care. The Executives no send and the JUDICIARY is not jailing them. Bet me, more tankers will fall. Nothing will be done. Nothing

“The age of ignoring comments that damage your character has passed”- Ali Baba

Ali Baba attacks IG User that called him stingy

Recently an IG User accused Ali Baba of being stingy. Well the comedian has called out the person and posted their conversations. He wrote:

“This is one of those reasons I do not like to listen to people who say, IGNORE ALL THOSE LOW LIVES. Because the comments they make about you remain online and when bloggers see that you did not put up anything to deny or correct it, they take it as the truth. The age of ignoring comments that damage your character has passed. Because these days, falsehood can be magnified into a believable lie… mainly because people are too lazy to cross reference and find out the truth by themselves. Just look at this yam head, jumping into my timeline and accusing me of being STINGY. I had to go look at his page to see if I knew him from anywhere. And saw a picture he had asked me to take with him at Eko Hotel last year. I asked my team if we engaged his services and I didn’t do the needful. I wanted to just block him, then someone liked his comments. That meant it was just one person who saw me as STINGY. Not bad. Just 2 guys. In fact, it meant I could correct the impression fast. So I engage him to know what he did that I did not show him generosity that he was ENTITLED TO. He first said celebrities like me should learn to be generous when services are rendered by people like him, instead of posting them and saying I will see you later. I was worried. Then he confessed he had not done anything or worked for me. Pheeeew! That prompted me to ask what his definition for stingy was. He had no reply. You see, I like these kind of people. They can count the money you work for. They can even help you plan it. If you assist others but don’t do anything for them, you are STINGY. Imagine the thwart, beefing car that I bought with my money, while he is lounging on a power bike! On scale of economics, there are people who that is a 4 storey car. But no. The entitlement culture has peaked. People now want anyone who has succeeded to hand over their hard earnings just so they won’t be seen as STINGY. The most annoying part is that some fools agreed with him.”
