Kate Henshaw Reacts to Banky W’s Snapchat Nude Photo Mistake

Some words of advice.

Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, in a tweet shared what looks like an advice to the Wellingtons.

One will recall that yesterday, social media went agog after Banky made a live video with Adesua’s backside in it. Many reacted to the video and advised the newly weds to take their lives off social media.

Kate Henshaw in her tweet seemed to be adding her voice to that of others asking that the couple tune down their social media presence. In her tweet, the actress advised that things should be kept private.

It’s easy to get sucked into the whole social media whirlpool but some things should just be kept private.” She wrote.

Kate Henshaw

Omotola Jolade Ekehinde was the first to advice the couple to take their marriage off social media. This was before their white wedding in Cape Town. After Cape Town, everyone is going to leave the couple and they will have to live with each other she said. They should stay off social media for a while she advised.

Let’s hope they learn from this one.

“Just discovered Banky W and I wedded on the same day” — Oritsefemi

Quick Question: How can he not know?

Saturday the 25th of November 2017 saw two of Nigeria’s big voices; Oritsefemi and Banky W walk down the aisle with their sweethearts.

Oritsefemi

The  two events were magnificent, with both brides looking fabulous in a fairytale stye. The fact however that the two singers chose the 25th to take the walk is no news. What is news surprisingly is Oritefemi’s claim that he didn’t know he shared the same date with the Wellingtons.

In an Instagram post, the singer shared a picture of the two beautiful brides and congratulated them. He then added that he didn’t know he shared the same date with the Wellingtons.

His post below:

Oritsefemi

“A very big congrats to this two amazing queens @nabila.fash and @adesuaetomi #on2017 #baad2017 … mehn just discovered we shared the same date , congrats bro @bankywellington ??”

The running rounds of putting together, a perfect wedding ceremony, like that of Oritsefemi and Nabila is enough to detach one from the world. One will easily excuse him on this ground because he was probably too busy to notice that he was getting married on the same day with Banky.

Whatever the case, congratulations to the latest couples, we can’t wait to welcome your cute kids to the world.

BAAD2017: The SA Experience, an End to a Beautiful Beginning

The SA Experience; the Final Destination.

Still on BAAD2017; the deal has been signed, sealed and Adesua Etomi has been carefully delivered to the Wellingtons. A big congratulations to the celebrity couple of the year.

Just like yesterday, news hit us that our sweetheart, Adesua Etomi has been hooked by one of the country’s most eligible bachelors. Little did we know that even more beautiful than the bride, the wedding was going to sweep us off our feets.

Just from a single hello, the journey of a happy ever after began and like a never ending story, two has become one. Adesua Etomi in pump and circumstance dropped the Etomi title to pick up forever as a Wellington.

The ceremonies that marked the cementing of their union has been filled with awesome colours. From the engagement (which came to us out of the blues), to the introduction, the traditional wedding and ultimately, the white wedding. In what better ways can one celebrate love once it is found.

The Beginning of Forever

From a carefully selected wedding venue, to an amazing artwork crafted in style by celebrity stylist, Mai Atafo, the white wedding certainly didn’t live short of anyone’s expectations. South Africans would certainly testify to beauty in this one. The mountain top view of the wedding venue again is one to leave us drooling.

To not mention the amazing friends and family that stayed through the phases of the wedding is to be unjust. The couple is certainly lucky to have friends that stick in good times (no hopes for bad times). Of course, family is about everything that makes sense as evident in this one.

The beautiful couple is and will always be a sight to behold as we all can’t wait to be graced with the sight of their offsprings. From their smiles that were laced with love to the poses, the dances and the kisses. We just can’t get enough of BAAD2017.

…now the beginning is over and the happy forever has just began. Few days down in this journey already and forever to go. We can only see a future of happy ever afters until the day after forever.

This one is for the Wellingtons, Cheers to Love!!!

“You are a real man.”

Earlier, Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu lashed out on Banky W and his wife for having such a lavish wedding. (Read Here). In another post, the actor again lashed out on the singer by throwing salient jibes at him.

This was in an Instagram post which was meant to congratulate singer, Oritse Femi on his wedding. In a way of comparison, Uche  commended Femi for his wedding, describing him as a wise man. The singer is “not like those who think their wedding is a national jamboree” he said.

His post below…

You are a #wise man, you are not like those who think wedding is a #national jamboree @oritsefemi I have always respected this my very #good and #handsome friend, because he is wise.?? Sorry #brother that i couldn’t attend your #wedding, even though i got the invite earlier, i was on a #movie location in #Calabar.

? But i must confess, you are a man filled with so much #wisdom.? @oritsefemi and i have been #friends for a long time, and i can tell you that his #marriage will last forever, because he knows how to keep his private life away from social #media.

?Those who are close to this legend can testify to this. How i wish other #celebs can emulate this wonderful #friend of mine, is #Nigeria not #beautiful enough for someone to #wed in? Some people like unnecessary attention, stop putting your whole life on #internet… Congrats dear brother @oritsefemi You #married a great #wife.

BAAD2017: Uche Maduagwu Calls Banky W & Adesua Etomi Out for Celebrating their Love with a Lavish Wedding

Still on BAAD2017.

Nigeria’s celebrity wedding of the year between Banky W and Adesua Etomi (BAAD2017) has generated a lot of mixed reactions. So many people have congratulated the couple on their wedding while others choose to lash out on them. There are others however who have chosen to give them some valuable pieces of advice.

The most recent reaction to this wedding is coming from Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu. In an instagram post, the actor lodged his disappointment over the lovebirds for celebrating such a lavish wedding despite the fact that they have promised not to (Read Here).

He Wrote:

Is it too difficult for you to do a small wedding? @bankywellington Are you #wedding the whole of #Nigeria or just one #girl??? Hmmm… My P.A just showed me an old #post of yours on #instagram where you said you would never do a #big wedding, and just yesterday, my Ex- #girlfriend also showed me a #video where @adesuaetomi said she would never do a big wedding too, so what really went wrong?

Can’t you #guys emulate my best #friend @iambangalee When he had his wedding, am sure the whole #world did not hear about it, until after the whole ceremony, because he knows the #food you invite the entire village to come eat with you never last… listen, those people who are #dancing and praising you today, some of them are secretly waiting for your #marriage to break like the wall of Jericho so they can #laugh at you. ?

Am the biggest #actor in Nigeria, and am saying its not too late to taking your #relationship off social #media, a word is enough for the #wise.

Actress, Omotola Jolade Ekehinde is one of those that felt that the couple should take their marriage out of social media as she also took to Instagram to advice the couple to do so. She stated that after Cape Town (their final wedding destination), they will have to go and live on their own thus they should learn to keep their lives private.

It’s Official, Nigerians Got no Chill, View Banky W’s 2016 Snaps where he Vowed not to have a Lavish Wedding

After his lavish star studded traditional wedding, some ‘sharp guys’ decided to nail the latest groom by digging  up his snaps. His Message

“Until I walk down the aisle with somebody, I’m never going to talk about somebody that I’ve been with. I don’t think it’s fair to the person because you open that person up.

Me, I can take the criticism and the comments on the internet and all of that stuff but somebody else that isn’t in that limelight doesn’t necessarily ask for that kind of criticism and backlash and slander and all of that and it’s tough to take for somebody that is not used to it so I don’t think it’s fair.”

“If/when I DO get married, no way I am doing that huge Lagos wedding move, NEVER…secret location somewhere that needs like 2 visas to get to. Whole life has been a show, not making my wedding one too, no way!. Yall not gonna Naija. Blog me, LOL..i’d rather Jay-Beyonce it, coded to max—world gonna find out after it’s already said and done”.

Banky W recovers from skin cancer surgery

Banky W 3rd cancer surgery.

Banky W wrote on his Instagram:

“A wise man once said this: “Scars. A sign that you had been hurt. A sign that you had been healed.” Scroll through the pictures to see mine.

I’m sharing these because they’re proof of what God has brought me through. And because somewhere out there, I know there’s someone who needs to hear this.

For those who’ve been wondering why I’ve been away so long..I had my 3rd surgery on a rare strain of skin cancer tumours in my shoulder last month. The first 2 times were over 10 yrs ago, then it recently resurfaced. But this isn’t a sad story as much as it is a reminder, and a testimony.
A reminder that you should never take life for granted. You only get 1 shot. Some people went to sleep and never woke up. Many others have lost the battle to cancer and other illnesses. Many are still fighting. U never know when your time will be up so don’t waste another minute. It’s also a testimony about the goodness of God. I think I had to go through this again to remember how merciful God is to me; Lord knows I don’t deserve it but He saves me time and again anyway. I keep saying I need to write a book. I really, really do.

He went on:

The past few weeks of recovery have been tough, but beautiful. I’m finally back on my feet, feeling stronger and ready to get back to life. I’m especially thankful to my Nurse Susu for loving me and being by my side every step of the way – I don’t deserve U ??, my parents & siblings, in-laws & close friends for the love, support and prayers, my Pastors – Pastor Tony Rapu & Pastor Del Balogun of TPH, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and Pastor Bayo Adeyokunnu – for constantly praying with and for me. And of course to Dr Wodajo & Dr Miralli & their teams – who God used to operate on me successfully.

I’m thankful for life, provision and healing. Pls dont feel bad, or msg me with any worries.. God has done it, just thank Him for me.
The pain will eventually go away but the scar won’t – and I’m glad because it’s a reminder to me of what God has done, and evidence to you of what He CAN do. I’m not stronger or better than anyone. I’m just a living testimony that no matter what u face, U can survive & thrive, by God’s grace.

Adesua Etomi Gives Tips on Spending

Nollywood sensation, shares tips on prudent  spending, says saving has saved her life on many occasions.

adesua etomi took to Twitter to share these tips, stating that spending to impress someone else is wrong and makes one look stupid. She also put buying things on credit on the wrong side.

“My spending rules… Save before you spend Don’t spend money on more ‘wants’ than ‘needs’ Don’t spend money that hasn’t hit your account yet Don’t buy things on credit Don’t buy things to impress anyone, it’s foolish I know people that spend money that hasn’t hit their account yet.

I’m expecting 50k in 5 days. 5k for lashes. 5k for ‘fixing’. 10k for bag. The jeans Yinka was selling, 10k..let me buy it on credit. Shoe 7k. Ah..my nails 4k. 9k left. Ah. Food nko? It’s k, I’ll get 20k in 6 days

“Being great at Saving money has saved my life MANY times. It’ll pinch you when you’re putting the money aside oh but trust me when I say you’ll be glad you did.”
Adesua Etomi is an award winning actress who came into limelight from her role in the movie, Knocking on Heaven’s Door. The actress, in a recent interview stated that she moved back to Nigeria after her long years of study in the United Kingdom because of her love for Nollywood and Nigeria.

Banky W, Others Call on Redeemers University to Revert the Expulsion of Young Actor, Dayo Adebowale, AKA, Mr. Macroni

This is coming after the expulsion of Debo Adebayo AKA Mr. Macroni from the school over a post he made on Facebook which the management claims portrays the school in bad light.

Banky W and OAP Dotun of Cool FM took to Twitter to voice their displeasure over the expulsion of the young actor.

Tweets below…

The Tweets Credit: Gistreel

Debo Adebayo took to Instagram to share the pain of his expulsion. He wrote…

Most of you would observe that I have been silent about Redeemer’s University lately. For those of you who know about my University life, most of you called me and sent me series of text messages 2 weeks ago asking why I didn’t go for my convocation.. this and that… as it was quite clear that I should have graduated in flying colors.

Well, the management of Redeemer’s University denied me of my joy that day. I had waited so long for that day, and while waiting, I served Redeemer’s University with all my life.

First as Social Director in my 300Level and then as President of both the student association and the graduating class. I ask anyone reading this to call anyone he or she knows in Redeemer’s University including the management that dislikes me so much and ask who Debo Adedayo (Mr Macaroni) is.

If they will speak the truth with the fear of God, they will tell you that I served the University with all my life and heart. I can’t plunge into the achievements of my administration in Redeemer’s University because you will get tired. I used everything that God blessed me with to promote Redeemer’s University.

I left Redeemer’s University a debtor. All my life savings was used in paying school fees for other students and making sure students were at least comfortable in the most possible way. Please just ask around.

For me, leadership was and still is service, selflessness and sacrifice through discipline, integrity and accountability to those we as leaders claim to be of service to and by God’s grace in whose name I swear, this was what I stood for.

I wrote my final exams, defended my project and was awaiting convocation when I was summoned by the management of the University saying I posted certain things that put the University in bad light.

Excuse me?

In all my posts, I never mentioned the name of the University nor the name of any of her official. Yet on the 12th of this month, I received a letter of Expulsion for this supposed reason. I have been patient enough with the management of the University.

That I wasn’t given the joy to graduate on that day I waited patiently for broke my heart. Yet, I was willing to let that go out of love for my University.

Now look what I have been greeted with. I am trying to understand the reasons behind this action by the mgt of the University. Could it be because for the first time in history, my administration refused to give the Vice-Chancellor and Director of Student affairs awards on our students appreciation day as we reached the conclusion that they didn’t deserve it?

Or could it be because my administration fought passionately for students rights; food, water, light scarcity? Could it be because I stood for the rights of students when they were falsely accused of defrauding the University….. the list is endless as I am still trying to help the University find a reason for her action.

I can go on and on, but I would simply rest my case for now as my parents have decided to take legal action against the management of the University.

I am bringing this to your attention because of the concern you have all shown and also so that everyone I have advertised Redeemer’s University to can see how exactly I am being paid back for my dedication.

You haven’t heard the last of this. Thank you. P.S: all comments or opinions shared on my page in no way represent my position about the University or anyone in it. Please be advised.
