Nigerian pop singer, David Adeleke, known as Davido, is currently in a social media frenzy as his uncle is declared the winner of the Osun State gubernatorial election.
This is coming after the tribunal ruling which states that the former senator is the rightful winner of the September polls
Following the ruling, the singer, in several social media posts has expressed his joy.
Taking to Instagram, he stated that redemption has come for the people of Osun State.

Davido has reacted to the election result which has APC leading. Davido was a great campaigner for PDP and Atiku and now that the result is not going their favor, he wrote: ‘we all tried, hopefully, one day, real change will come’.
Nigerian singer, Reekado Banks, over the weekend, took to Twitter to reveal that he voted during the February 23rd Presidential and National Assembly election.
Noting that he had exercised his electoral franchise, the singer revealed that it is pointless to be an activist if one isn’t going to participate in the process.
His tweet was, however, interpreted by his followers as one directed at Davido. Recall, therefore, that the singer was at the forefront during the campaigns. Asides campaigning for his prefered candidate, he also encouraged people to vote and defend their votes.
The singer was, however, in South Africa during the election. This earned him criticism from different angles.

Having come under attack from different angles on social media, the singer, however, took a bold step to apologize to the lady.
In response to his apology, the lady has stated that she isn’t having it. According to her, she does not know the singer and she doesn’t have ways of sending him a DM.
She, however, stated that she isn’t trying to use the attention the whole drama has gotten her. The singer wanted his fans to attack her, she said.

Davido made a post during the weekend on reasons why he Buhari should not be re-elected. Well, he has now tweeted that he has been receiving a lot of threats.
