Davido remembers his friend Tagbo who died last year

A year ago, Tagbo Umeike died under strange circumstances which almost implicate his friend Davido.  Yesterday, the singer was in remembrance of his friend and made a post on Instagram.  He wrote:

‘On this day last year ! We lost our brother! We love and Miss you g! Continue to Rest In Peace Tagbo!’

Nigerian singers keep going international, amidst wide acceptance in Africa and the world over. Singers like Davido and his like are among those that have been able to successfully place the country on the world’s music map.

In a recent development, the ‘FIA’ crooner has clinched a collabo with American rapper, Quabo. Being a recipient of several international awards, the OBO is certainly one of the most sought after singers on the continent.

Davido annouced as part of Quabo’s upcoming album.

The singer who is also glad about the collabo, took to his Instastory to share the news.

“Fraud ass, Fucking hoe” – Davido slams his friend Who criticized his uncle

A friend of Davido by the name Oluricky on Instagram criticized Davido’s uncle and the singer wouldn’t have it.

oluricky wrote:Lolz he wasn’t present for the Osun State debate Channels TV held back then, he is present to announce he is going to court.

Davido replied: “Olu Ricky? Ur really here commenting this about my uncle and Ull, see someone and be smiling in their face! I considered you a friend! Bitch Behaviour, smh fuck you x2..same way you weren’t present for court when they were about to deport your FRAUD ASS! Fucking hoe! I hope to see you soon”

For the past few weeks, singer, Davido has been preoccupied with political activities as his way of supporting his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke’s bid for the seat of the Osun State Governor.

Following INEC’s declaration of the election as inconclusive, the senator and his supporters have been preparing for a rerun. Today being the day for the rerun election, singer, Davido has therefore sent a message to the people of the state.

Davido asks the people of Osun for their unflinching support.

The singer who took to Twitter, thanked the people of the state. He however, warned them against those which he described as sugarcoated liars.

His tweets:

To all patriotic Osun citizens. On the road to #Osun2018, I salute you all for all the mileage you have covered thus so far during the election. I salute your courage, resilience and support Adeleke the “dancing senator soon to be cheerful and Dancing governor”

 Don’t be Sugarcoated by their blatant promises. As you cast your votes tomorrow for the re-run, vote PDP. We solidarize with you.

The rerun election is presently ongoing in some Local Government areas of the state.

When singer, Davido brags about how he is a blessing to those around him, he does it with confidence. Not only is he a one of the wealthiest Nigerian celebrities, he also extends his wealth to those around him.

Last year, he bought the iPhoneX  for his crew members (read here) and this year, he has also done the same. His signees are however beneficiaries of this gesture, this time. They got the iPhone XI from the singer.

Singer, David Adeleke, AKA, Davido is currently in Osun state for matters of politics. His uncle, Ademola Adeleke is the flag bearer for the People’s Democratic Party, for the forthcoming Gubernatorial elections in the state. Not only is the senator a major contender for the election in the state, his family has also been solidly behind him.

From cancelling his tors to attend rallies, despite the fact that he gave NYSC as the reason being the cancellation, to showing as a face for his uncle’s campaign, the singer is really going all out for the course.

Yesterday, Senator Adeleke’s camp held their major rally in Osogbo and the singer was also in attendance. Not only did he attend, he showed up gallantly in the party’s customized agbada.

Nigerian singer, Davido, who recently enrolled for the mandatory service year, has cancelled his U.S tour for the wants of the orientation course.

Having left the Iyana Ipaja, Lagos orientation Camp for his U.S tour, the singer is now set to return to camp to complete the remaining part of his orientation. For this reason, he has announced that he will be canceling his tour. He however, promise to return funds to all concerned.

Davido confirms that the tour clashes with his NYSC program.

Promising to reschedule tours and add new dates for the future, the singer confirms that he is returning to answer the call to serve.

He wrote:

 I apologize to all my Fans but Duty calls !  But I promise new dates would be announced for Houston Dallas LA and San Francisco  We will reschedule and add more dates. Shout out to all the fans who sold out each city so far.

In what looks like the absence of his girlfriend, Chioma, the singer, in a bid to satisfy the needs of his stomach, takes to the kitchen. Davido says his father got angry with him for leaving school to do music.

Nigerian pop music sensation, David Adeleke, known as Davido, has again, spoken on the reception he got from his father, when he decided to do music. This was in an interview with The Breakfast Club, where he also spoke on some other issues.

According to him, his father got angry because he left school for music. He however, sent fifty police officers to get him arrested, during his first show. Though he was able to escape by scaling the fence, his crew members and his girlfriend were arrested. His father, however, didn’t stop there as he threatened to send them all to jail if he didn’t show up. He therefore did as he was instructed and his friends were released, he said.

Here the reasons why Davido decided to serve the country.

Pop singer, Davido, recently caused a stair on social media after he posted pictures of himself as a National Youth Corps member.

Yesterday, during the swearing -in ceremony, it was reported that the singer turned the event to a show. Corps members could not contain their excitement as they all struggled to get close to the singer.

Upon signing his oath of allegiance, the singer gave newsmen reasons why he decided to serve. According to him, his choice is owing to his love for the service scheme. As a Nigerian, he chose to avail himself the chance to serve the country, he said.

As a young age Nigerian, I would not want to miss the opportunity to be part of the service year.

I registered for the scheme due to my strong passion for NYSC.

OBO certainly knows how to put the lines in place for himself.

Davido has been dragged on social media for what his crew members wore for a recent shoot.

Nigerians on social media has dragged singer, Davido for giving his used clothes to Chioma’s cousin, Peruzzi and DMW’s producer, Fresh.

The accusation was birthed by what the crew members wore in a recent video shoot. From social media’s FBI agents’ research, the shirts they wore, was worn by Davido recently.

Pictures of Davido wearing the same shirts and those from the shoot, has however, surfaced online.

Some social media users opine, however, that there is nothing wrong with the singer being generous. Others think it may just be a coincidence. They may have chosen to buy the same clothes, they think.
