Nigerian entertainer,D’banj, has paid courtesy visit to Lagos state gubernatorial candidate under the APC, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. This he did in the company of U.S based R&B singer, Ari Lennox.
During the visit, the governorship aspirant was said to have acknowledged the role of entertainment in the economy. According to him, Nigerian entertainers have worked hard to gain global recognition.

He is therefore, quoted thus:
we would continue to acknowledge the role entertainment plays in our economy. Our entertainers have worked very hard to be globally recognized and accepted’.

Recall however, that Sanwo-Olu defeated the incumbent governor Akinwunmi Ambode at the APC primary polls.
