Over the course of the past few months, fans and lovers of celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji have been in wait of her baby.

Today, the 17th of September, the Blogger finally delivers her baby and it is a boy. It is no longer news that the baby’s name starts with the later ‘J’. It is therefore now safe to call her mummy ‘J’. Let’s wait to see what ‘J’ stands for.

Linda Ikeji is now a mother.

Breaking the news by herself on her Instagram page, she wrote;

Oh dear Lord, I am a mum. Baby J is here! ??❤❤. He was born today 17th September. This is so surreal ??. Thank you guys so much for the love through this journey and thanks for all the well wishes. Love you guys! ???

Media mogul, Linda Ikeji, is currently in Atlanta, in anticipation of the birth of her highly anticipated son, whose name she has revealed as ‘J’.

Surrounded by close friends and family, some of which recently flied into the US to cheer her up, the blogger held a baby shower yesterday. Pictures from the event, as posted by LIB has however, been circulating round social media.

Recall also that she has given her fans, a hint of her baby-daddy’s identity. She revealed that his is a tall man from Delta State and the revelation has kept people guessing who the mystery man behind the scenes is.

Among those pictured at the event are her sisters, Laura and Sandra, as well as their mother. Laura’s husband, Ogbonna Kanu, was also present, among others.

Linda Ikeji shares some tips on the physical features of her baby daddy.

Africa’s foremost blogger, Linda Ikeji, who is currently in Atlanta to birth her first child, has given a hint at what the man behind her swollen tummy looks like.

This was in a long Instagram note, where she revealed that she cannot contain her joy and anxiety. According to her, she has always liked to take care of babies. She was her compound’s favorite babysitter, while she was growing up, she said.

She also shared pictures of all the expensive things she has bought for her child.

She wrote;

I love children so much. I’m particularly obsessed with babies. I grew up in a compound with a lot of neighbours and believe it or not, as a teenager/young woman, I was the unofficial resident babysitter. I swear, ask my siblings. I literally carried all the newborn babies born in that compound at a period of time until they grew up to a certain age. Their mums used to come drop the babies at our house whenever they were tired or wanted to go out, this was, of course, to the annoyance of my family..lol.

The first baby I carried was a boy named Makoba (wonder where he is now, this was about 20yrs ago). From the first day I carried him, I didn’t want to let him go. So every time I had free time, and his mum hadn’t brought him to me, I would walk two floors up, knock on his family’s door and ask them if they wanted me to take the child off them for a while. I was always happy when they said yes. After him other mums started dropping their kids with me.

Back then my sisters and I used to take turns to cook every day of the week. So whenever it was my turn to cook and I was babysitting and they insisted I go cook, I’d tell my sisters to either hold the baby for me so I could go cook or they go cook. They always chose the latter. Lol.

On her relationship with her siblings’ children, she wrote;

Then my siblings started having children & I started to feel more joy. These were no longer neighbours’ or friends’ children, these were my nephews and nieces. My family! And carrying them brought me even more joy. If I was planning to go out and I heard my beautiful nephews and niece were coming over to the house, most times, I change plans and just stay home with them. There’s no greater joy for me than being around them.

So now imagine soon I will look down at a baby, and it won’t be a neighbor’s child, a friend’s child, a sister’s child, but my own child, my own flesh and blood, carried in my womb. My own son. It’s surreal. I can’t get over it.

Dear son, you are my greatest dream realized and I can’t wait to meet you! I plan to be one of the best mums the world has ever seen. Thanks for choosing me

Sometimes I wonder what he will look like. His dad is tall, dark and handsome and I’m cute too so fingers crossed 

Taking to her Instagram story, she also shared photos of some of the designer clothes she’s already buying for her baby boy, to the surprise of her mum who can’t believe the extravagant cost of them.

Younger brother to media mogul, Linda Ikeji, as via his Instagram handle, declared his cravings for millions.

This was in a post where he noted that he has become bored of being a millionaire. According to him, he and his team is currently working towards making billions. They hope to achieve this in six months, he said.

Linda Ikeji says she still needs gifts despite her wealth.

Pregnant Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji has issued a strict note of warning to her friends, fans and family ahead of the birth of her son.

According to her, people often times, do not see the need to give her gifts because they consider her rich. This must not happen when her son arrives because she wants gifts for her son. She advised that they start preparing these gifts.

Now let me make a very public and official warning. People always say ‘Linda has money, Linda has money’ so people hardly give me anything. ‘What do you give a woman who can buy anything she wants?’, they say. Is that so? Pls pls, I don’t want to hear that nonsense when my son is born. I want gifts! Baby gifts. So all of you be warned! And start preparing.

Linda Ikeji plans to change the Nigerian movie narrative.

Nigerian top blogger, Linda Ikeji, whom last week, launched her online TV platform, speaks on the plans she has for the TV channel.

Speaking in an interview with Business Insider, the media mogul says she wishes to make movies for her station, in future. Her movies, she said is not what the country currently knows as movies. She will make movies that are different from what we are used to, she revealed.

For the channel, because we can’t create everything at the same time, we had to acquire already produced movies. We haven’t shot any movie at all,” she told Business Insider.

“I want to make movies completely different movies from what you have seen. My vision for our movies is totally different from what Nigeria currently produces, so I am not ready for movies now

The one we have now has 22 episodes. It’s on the site – ‘The Igwe Must Hear This’. I came up with the idea: the name, the style – because I used to really love something called “Ichuko.” It is like a modern remake of “Ichuko,” she said about the original TV shows on the site.

The media mogul also added that the content she has running presently are just a persentage of what she has lined up.

So far, we have 10 reality shows and 21 TV shows. More content is on the way. What we have currently is just one percent of what we want to do. We just wanted to launch so people can see some of what we’ve done.

Right now, some of my staff are already on different locations, producing more shows, because we plan to do much more.

Amidst pregnancy and rumours, Linda Ikeji keeps making waves.

Nigeria’s top blogger, Linda Ikeji has just rented an eleven room apartment for her upcoming reality TV show.

Made in Gidi, a TV show that will feature 12 contestants is set to air exclusively on Linda Ikeji TV. The contestants, 5 males and 7 females will live in the house without communication with the outside world. There will however, be neither evictions nor voting. There also will be no winner.

Weeks ago, word broke that popular Nigerian Blogger, Linda Ikeji got engaged. In the heat of excitement, fans were left wondering who the lucky man is. Not only has the blogger refused to show her ring, she has also chosen to shield her man’s identity. This, in addition to the date of her wedding have kept fans wondering.

In the quest for answers, Sandra Ikeji decided to pull a late April fool prank on her followers. She uploaded a picture of a man whom she described as her in-law. Since the man in the picture isn’t Laura Ikeji’s husband whom we all know, fans took it as the picture of Linda’s intended. She captioned the picture thus;

“He sooooo fine. Pop the question already babes. My answer is YES! Lol if my sister cashh me ehhh. My inlaw so fine, so calm. Love you”.

Without a knowledge of the truth, fans went agog as they poured congratulatory messages to Linda.
