Uche Jombo seeks advise on when to allow a child access to the internet

In Africa, moral and the internet does not really seem to go together. That’s is why Nollywood actress and director, Uche Jombo needs guidance on when to allow a child access to the internet. She said children need to be supervised on their use of the internet.

Uche Jombo is asking what is the right age a child should be granted unsupervised access to use the internet

”Technology is the future,I know the importance of making sure our children are highly skilled in this digital age but the harsh reality is ….unless you are going to supervise your child’s online activities they are not safe…the true danger lurking in the burgeoning number of children’s internet chat rooms ( social media / gaming chat rooms)
I know most of these apps say 13years and above (which kids can lie about to create profile) (Today is such an eye opener for me)
Story for another day. Can we please discuss the right age for our kids to get on internet (social media and gaming chat rooms) unsupervised.”

Now that I have gotten that off my chest”.

Actress Uche Jombo speaks about her upcoming projects in interview

Popular Nollywood actress, Uche Jombo in an interview with Gistreel spoke about things that includes her work life, relationship and personal experience.

Talking on her current projects, the actress said: “I have a film I co-executive produced with Ini Edo called, ‘Heaven On My Mind’. That’s what I’m working on right now. I have another project, a series that will come out soon entitled, ‘Boys Are Not Smiling’. It’s a youthful series. These days, the youth think they know everything. So, I think I should give them a platform to actually let us know what they know. We did an online open audition, with all the leading characters cast online. I can’t wait for people to start watching it. We have filmed the first season and now preparing for the second season. We will soon start showing it.”

When asked if she turned down some proposals before marriage she said:

“I think every girl will do that before she eventually gets married. I think you will have to kill some frogs before you meet your prince charming. People you don’t want to marry will ask you to marry them, before you eventually meet whom you want to marry.”

Uche Jombo said that her fans should expect lots from her.  According to her: “You are going to see lots of projects from UJ Studios. You will see lots of collaborations; you will also see projects that I am passionate about like ‘Boys Are Not Smiling’, ‘The Hustle Is Real’, and ‘Heaven On My Mind’ etc. Someone commented on my (social media) page today and it was like ‘Uche, you are back’ and I said ‘I never left’.”
