As campaigns for the much anticipated 8th August 2017 elections gain momentum, Jubilee is leaving nothing to chance in a bid to ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta secures a second term in office.
A resource mobilizers, campaign strategists, media relations gurus and logistics experts led campaign team has now been set up to deliver victory.
The team has immediately moved in to seal any loopholes that might deny Kenyatta a clear win and according to our sources within the expertize dominated Uhuru’s re-election machinery, one of latest strategies to be adopted is a well coordinated campaign to ensure that young female voters, who have in the past shunned electoral processes, turn up to vote in Uhuru’s favour.
Warembo Na UhuRuto, a pro Jubilee lobby established two years ago, has been identified and given a go-ahead to spearhead the initiative.
Founded and chaired by former University of Nairobi student leader Wambui Nyutu, Warembo Na UhuRuto is now in charge of Jubilee’s nationwide mobilization of young female voters.

“It was quite easy to settle for Warembo Na UhuRuto to spearhead the initiative. With thousands of followers and over 32 chapters across the country, the lobby is the best bet for the job,” said a source conversant with the ongoings within the campaign team.
And the lobby is not wasting any time.
A week ago, Nyutu and her team brought Tharaka Nithi to a standstill as they officially launched the county’s chapter of the lobby.
Speaking at the launch, Nyutu argued, “Jubilee has fulfilled the promises it made to Kenyans in 2013. Exam fees are paid for by government, the Standard Gauge Railway is set to create numerous jobs for our youths and 4.1M Kenyans are now connected to electricity.”
Wambui also urged Kenyans to shun legislators who oppose the two third gender rule which President Kenyatta has supported all through.
And Warembo Na UhuRuto does not just derive it’s enviable energy from the promising political brains running it. As witnessed during the Tharaka Nithi event, the lobby has beauties that will leave members of Team Mafisi salivating.
