police recover all the seven G3 riffles stolen from Booker police post in Mumias

Police have recovered the remaining six G3 riffles which were , Mumias, on 23rd November 2016 the ministry of interior has confirmed.
The recovery brings to an end a major operation which has occupied major headlines causing pain and anxiety in equal measure.
The stolen guns were found in a sugarcane plantation after the suspects flee fearing arrest.

on Saturday, one of the seven guns stolen was recovered accounting for all the seven stolen guns.
The stolen guns recovery will bring a sign of relief to both the national government and the public alike.
The government will breathe easy knowing that the dangerous weapons are finally back in the safe hands of the ‘police’ and would not be used to carry out vices such as robbery with violence.
 
The residents of mumias on the other hand, would be happy to bide the remaining police force in their area goodbye, and resume their normal lives.
This is after most of the residents in the small agricultural town underwent untold suffering under the hands of the very same people charged with keeping them safe.
 
while hundreds of residents suffered serious injuries like broken limbs, while a few have even reported sexual assault under the hands of the law enforces while the operation was going on.
As a result local and national leaders strongly condemned the operation, calling for immediate halting of the recovery mission and through investigation to be launched to bring responsible police officers into book.
