Raw Emotions As Nairobi, Moi And Catholic Universities Ordered To Close School

The fate of thousands of students is in limbo after The Council of Legal Education listed three law schools for shut down.

Students pursuing law in Nairobi, Moi and Catholic universities have been left clueless after the council ordered the closure of their institutions.

An inspection conducted by the council found the three law schools lacking the required facilities and resources to offer the law programmes.

It’s reported Moi law school fared poorly in the inspection. The institution failed to meet the threshold of 67 per cent that is required for full accreditation.

Lots of noise has been raised following the council’s directive. Folks on social media have been trolling law students sarcastically urging them to take up careers in different professions like teaching.

The Council of Legal Education ran a placement on local daily showing law schools that have been approved to carry on learning and those that were blacklisted.
