Deliah Ipupa has confirmed that Ferre Gola paid her management Sh 1.5m for her to model in his soon to be released song.

This comes a few months after the super model landed a deal with Nivea that has seen her fame grow at a fast rate. Deliah Ipupa is now not only a continental but an international model who fit perfectly to what Ferre Gola was looking for.

The Lingala musician is said to have been forced to shoot his yet-to-be released video in Kenya despite that not being the plan.

His show in Kisumu opened an opportunity for him to meet with Deliah who was in the country at the time. The singer then opted to fly the model to Kisumu where the two worked on the music video that was shot and directed by J Blessing.

Most models are often booked, so we decided to grab the opportunity as Deliah was in Nairobi at the time. It would have cost us more if we had booked her from Paris, London or Dubai where she is based.

Though many were doubting this, I spoke to the model this morning and she confirmed that Ferre Gola did pay the Sh.1.5 million to her management. She also revealed that Ferre’s people are the ones who looked for her and not the other way round.

Yes that is what his management paid. It was a fee negotiated by the agency I am currently under, they are based in Dubai. 1.5 is actually what I got, my  booking agent got a fee out if it as well. Ferre’s people contacted us last year and we have been negotiating. They decided to grab the opportunity when they found me in Nairobi.
