Actor falls to death during rehearsal

An actor met his untimely death on Thursday when he plunged into a river and swept away by the waterfall. This happened in Drakensberg when he was rehearsing a fight on a movie set.

The actor fell off a cliff at the Sterkspruit Waterfall near Monks Cowl in the southern Drakensberg. His body was however not found till Friday morning.

He has also not been named as his family has not been notified of the death.

It is believed he lost his footing while rehearsing and fell. Guided by a search dog, specialized divers and the rescue unit were able to find his body.

An inquest docket has been registered.
