Karlien van Jaarsveld Threatening To Take Legal Action Against Ex

Karlien van Jaarsveld is now threatening to take legal action against her ex-husband, Derick Hougaard. This is according to her mother, Ronel Brink.

Her threats come after the two were involved in a social media scuffle this past week.

Karlien had shared an Instagram post writing: “We can’t find my sons. Derick is drunk; we don’t know where the children are please! This is how they look, please help to search!” An hour later, she announced that the children were “found”.

She later spoke about the incident after being criticized.

“We were the safest that we could be. We were sitting with friends and later the kids got cold. One of our friends own the Summit Bar. So we went to go sit there, because they were getting cold. We covered them up, and they were sleeping.”

Karlien is reported to be thinking of taking legal action not to keep the children away from their father, but for them to be safe when they are with him.
