Mafikizolo to celebrate 20th

Mafikizolo have been giving us more than sound in their performances. Despite the break they took a while back, they are set celebrate their 20th anniversary on 2nd December.

Mafikizolo explained the reason for their break on Trend SA.

“For me I love Mafikizolo and I’ve been writing for Mafikizolo. But it gave me an opportunity to write for other musicians as well and to prepare for my solo album,” said Theo Kgosinkwe.

Nhlanhla Nciza said the break was necessary in order for her to pursue other avenues of the industry. She owns a vintage clothing line called NN Vintage.

“I wanted to explore other things…the biggest thing was the launch of my clothing line.”

Mafikizolo are now back after pursuing their careers individually. They say they are blessed to have come this far, and impacted the industry the way they have.
