R Kelly hosted concert refused permit

A Springfield concert that was to be hosted by R. Kelly will not take place. This is due to the new sexual misconduct allegations against him.

The application for the concert was denied because of security concerns after protests took place outside R Kelly’s Chicago studio last week.

The star has face a lot of backlash since the airing of the documentary Surviving R. Kelly. He has however denied all allegations of sexual misconduct.
