Royal Wedding update: New details released

Prince Harry and his fiancée Meghan Markle have released new details about their royal wedding set for May 19th. The event, they say, will include a carriage ride through Windsor, so as to share the wedding with the public.

The wedding will take place at noon, at the St. George’s Chapel. Prince Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, will be in attendance.

In a statement from Kensington Palace, the couple said they are hugely grateful for the good wishes they have received and can’t wait to share their special day with the public.

“Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle are hugely grateful for the many good wishes they have received since announcing their engagement. They are very much looking forward to the day and to being able to share their celebrations with the public.”

Wedding date is on May the 19th at noon.

The celebration will take place at St. George’s Chapel.

The Dean of Windsor The Rt Reverend David Conner will conduct the service, while the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, will marry the couple.

After the service, the couple will go on a carriage parade from the chapel, through Windsor Castle, the High Street, Windsor Town and then back to the Windsor Castle.

After the carriage ride, a reception for the couple and guests will take place at the St. George’s Hall. Thereafter, Prince Charles will hold a private evening reception for the couple, family and close friends.

Ms Markle will be baptised into the Church of England and confirmed, before the wedding.
