Somizi Throws Shade At Bonang, Nomzamo During The Feather Awards

As the host of this year’s Feather Awards, Somizi could easily say anything and get away with it. In keeping the audience entertained, he started off with Bonang.
He told an audience member to watch their taxes and always pay on time. This comes even as Bonang is facing tax evasion allegations. In making her response on social media, she said the show would be boring if they didn’t talk about her.
Somizi then targeted Home Affairs Minister Malusi Gigaba, Emtee and even Dash.
He then drew a joke about Nomzamo and Maps, tickling the audience to the core.
“Now Nomzamo can date a straight man‚” Somizi joked when speaking about the star’s break up with Maps Maponyane.
When Real Housewives of Johannesburg star Evodia Mogase went to present the Drama Queen of the Year award, Somizi asked her about Dineo Ranaka.
She shrugged off comparisons between herself and Dineo and called her fellow reality star “a joke”.
Everyone turned to look at Dineo’s hair, which was empty.
In taking to the stage to present an award, Dineo decided to stick to the script , thus beef was averted.
