The MVP Awards took place at the Eko Convention Centre in Nigeria over the weekend. it saw two of our very own artists walk home with the biggest awards.
Musician Busiswa and AKA walked off with the awards.

Since the arrival of her baby, Busiswa Gqulu has been sharing photos of herself and her baby.
On Sunday afternoon, we got to see an image of her son. In the post, Busiswa was talking about how Sundays will never be the same because of her son.
On Monday, she finally showed us her baby’s face.
“Monday Morning. I wanna get up & hustle but I also wanna just stare at him all day #MCM,” Busiswa captioned the post.

Busiswa recently revealed that she was expectant. This was during her birthday. A few days ago, she made a post saying, “One of the most magical things about expecting for me is realising how loved I am. And that I have a village of warrior women waiting with me in anticipation. And they are all there to show that love to the new member. I’m reeling from this love, I’m floating on it and I’m thankful for it.” This caught many of her fans off guard.
She decided to share her experience in the motherhood journey.
Speaking on Metro FM, Busiswa said she has had a great pregnancy. The musician who is due in a few weeks said her last show would be this coming weekend. She intends to relax s she waits for the baby.
“I’m going to be going on a maternity leave this December. I need to rest and relax. But I have enjoyed the journey so far and I hope when the baby arrives that will be enjoyable as well. I’ve had a great pregnancy.”
Busiswa Gqulu revealed that she is pregnant.
Busiswa Gqulu is known for her great moves and signature voice. She has thus managed to stay relevant in the music industry with her music and charismatic personality.
