Cassper Nyovest buys his twitter account from hackers

Cassper Nyovest fell victims to hackers who gained control of his twitter account.

In order to regain back his account, the rapper was forced to buy it back.

Cassper joins a long list of celebs who have fallen victim to hackers.

The rapper first announced that his Twitter account had been hacked through a post on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday.

“Bought my my account back from the hacker but now someone else stole my handle and I lost my verification,” Cassper wrote, asking fans to retweet the post in hopes of being verified by Twitter once again.

Cassper Nyovest explains why he was not part of the Cotton Fest

There is a lot of speculation on Cassper and Riky Rick are currently embroiled in a beef.

The speculation was further heightened up by Cassper not performing at the Cotton Fest.

The Cotton Fest was an Inaugural event which was a brainchild of Riky.

Considering the two are bestie it was quite obvious that Mufasa would perform but that was not the case.

Many of the people even thought that  Cassper would be a surprise guest.

But he took to Twitter to shut down; the rumors saying ;

Cassper not interested in the South Africa Music Awards

Cassper took to Twitter to express his disinterest in the South Africa Music Awards.

He tweeted that the awards are doing fine without him.

This was his response after the SAMAS posted a video of his female fan pleading with Cassper Nyovest to submit his music this year.

This will not be the first time that Cassper is boycotting the SAMAs.

The entry for the SAMAs is open, and musicians are welcome to submit their body of work with to be part of the nomination process.

Its now becoming a habit for our celebs to boycott award shows, due to their biased nature.

Cassper math skills leaves everyone in stitches

Cassper Nyovest has found himself being the biggest joke on Twitter this week.

Cassper embarrassed himself when he showed off his poor math skills.

The fun began when an international news agency tweeted a story of a man who just turned 146-years-old this week, to which Mo Flava responded: “This old man has seen the 1800s, 1900s, and 2000s”.

Cassper then tried to act all smart and call Mo out on his math, when in fact, he was the one who was wrong.

“Don’t know about this maths though Mo,” he said.

Cassper Nyovest took to Twitter to reflect on his musical journey and how he managed to fill up stadiums and arenas. Cassper recalled how he couldn’t get into the club before because he was chased out by the bouncers

10 years ago I was begging Jr to perform at his album launch. Couldn’t get into the club B4 he got there cause the bouncers&the door lady didn’t know or care who I was. 10 years later I sold 68 000 tickets at Soccer City Stadium.

Cassper Nyovest Reflects On His Past 5 years Ago

Cassper Nyovest took to social media to reflect on a time when he was broke and depressed. His message was to encourage fans not to give up on their dreams.

“I was broke as hell and depressed 5 years ago. My debut album dropped just 5 years go. Today I am seen as an inspiration to all my kinds of people. Black, white, young and old. I appreciate my life so much. Crazy what God can do in your life in just 5 years. Please don’t give up [sic],” he tweeted.

Since then, cassper has been able to release four albums and even managed to #FillUp concert in four different stadiums.

We are proud of him, and his achievements.

Cassper Nyovest phone number hacked

Cassper Nyovest took to social media to announce that his phone number had been hacked.

The alleged hackers were asking for bail money.

“Someone hacked my number and they are using this 0783821953 to get people to send him money. I think it’s an @MTN number. Criminals are having a party with our lives hey,[sic]” he tweeted.

Cassper wore a local designer during his Global Citizen performance

Rapper Cassper Nyovest was seen wearing a Tshepo The Jeanmaker outfit over the weekend and now it is all the rage

Casper opened his #FillupMosesMabhida concert in the jean-to-jean outfit on Saturday and also wore it at the Global Citizen Festival on Sunday.

In an Interview with the Daily Sun,Tshepo talked about his excitement on seeing the rapper rock his bran

“I knew he was going to wear the outfit at his concert, but I did not know he would also wear it at the Global Citizen Festival.”

“My outfit was worn on big stages and that makes me really happy,” he said.

“Cassper said he needed something comfortable. We did not make any fittings and he did not have a specific design, but when he saw the outfit he was like a baby seeing a lollipop,” he said.

“The response from the public has been positive. People were applauding Casper for wearing a local brand and I am happy about that,” he said.

Cassper Nyovest owes R7 million in debt

In an Interview with SABC 3, Cassper claimed to be R7m in debt after his Fill Up Moses Mabhida show.  

“I’ve been an emotional wreck, me and my team, cause we went from Mabhida, which was like the most hectic thing we ever went through. So Global Citizen was such a dope way to end the week. The biggest challenge with where we are as a team is that is that we refuse to accept mediocrely, so we’re trying to push the industry further. Most often we find ourselves in positions where we need funding and we need sponsorships from institutes like the government, and we were not able to be supported the way we should be.For instance, we just came from Mabhida and right now we’re sitting with R7m debt after engaging with all the different departments that were supposed to help us.”He was quoted saying.

Cassper Nyovest memeorable weekend

Well Cassper Nyovest had a weekend for the books.

It all started with the release of his  fourth studio album Sweet and Short on Friday which went Platinum on the first day.

On Saturday, the rapper went on to make more history by pulling off yet another successful #FillUp, this time at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

On sunday night he went on to deliver another impressive performance at the Global Citizen Festival on Sunday at a packed FNB Stadium.

Cassper got to be the last act to perform before Beyonce and Jay Z hit the stage and he gave his whole heart to his performance.

Killed 2 stadiums back to back and my new album Sweet and Short went platinum in a day. I also released an amazing record titled Timbuktu with Chris Martin and Stormzy. This has been an amazing weekend. God is good!” he said on social media.

Cassper Nyovest kills it in #FillupMosesMabhida

He had a dream and now he is living it, Cassper put on quite a show at the #FillupMosesMabhida concert.

Suspended from mid-air, Cassper wowed fans as he made a grand entrance.

With an electric performance and a line up to die Cassper made sure to leave his mark in Durban.

“Durban, tonight was legendary. Thank you,” he said after the show in a post on Instagram.

Cassper Nyovest clears the air on R56m payout

 

At a briefing held at the Durban stadium yesterday, Cassper addressed the  rumours that he received R56 million from eThekwini Municipality.

The briefing was attended by KZN artists’ organisations and forums, as well as DJ Tira. Cassper said he had not received any money from the municipality.

“When I first organised #FillUpTheDome, it was difficult and I thought maybe people didn’t understand the concept behind it,” said Cassper.

“The government came on board at the last minute.

“I remember I was called by the minister to say they had come to an agreement to sponsor the event.

“I hope the municipality will fund us or a lot of things will be compromised.”

Organisations such as Delangokubona, Radical Economic Transformation and the Creative Workers Union of South Africa have claimed Cassper was given R56 million by the municipality and demanded that they benefit, too.

The union’s Joy Mbewana said they were not against the show but against the money Cassper was rumoured to have received.

“We’ve reached an agreement and we’re happy. We were surprised to find out the rumours were untrue,” she said.

 

Cassper Nyovest fan showcases his incredible fan art

As we are all gearing up for #FillupMosesMabhida one of his fan has gone out of the way to showcase his love for Cassper Nyovest.

The fan created  a giant replica of Moses Mabhida stadium with a lion next to it in honour of the show which is set to take place on 1 December.

A Twitter user shared the work of art on Tuesday, saying that it took the artist nine days to complete.

Cassper showed his appreciation of the art stating he would love to meet the artist.

Cassper Nyovest to drop his Album during the #FillupMosesMabhida concert

If you need more reason to attend the #FillupMosesMabhida here you go,Cassper will be dropping his Album during the event.

The rapper took to Instagram to share the good news of the release of his Album titled ‘Sweet and Short’.

”The kwaito sound has been very influential in My music and for a very long time fans have asked for a full kwaito project. I finally gave in and decided to keep it sweet and short, nice and simple. #SweetAndShort dropping on the 1st of December at Moses Mabhida”. Read the announcement.

Sweet and Short will be available for pre-order on Friday, 16 November and the nine-track album will be released on 30 November.

The album will included the hits Hase Mo StatesGets Getsa 2.0 and the brand new single, Sponono Sam featuring Shwi No Mtekhala.

Cassper Nyovest gives fans a second opportunity through internship programme

Cassper Nyovest’s Fill Up Internship Programme is back for a second year.

The programme was first launched in 2017, with his #FillUpFNB concert. This was a means to pay it forward and equip young people with tangible skills across various event disciplines.

Cassper has opened up the program again, especially with the #FillUpMosesMabhida so near.

This time, the internship will be open to Durban residents only. The departments that will interview for interns are: operations, talent operations, logistics, accreditation, hospitality & catering, merchandise, marketing, PR and sponsorship.

Interviews will take place on 17th November and thereafter the internship from the 28th of November.

All the interns will be expected to attend #FillUpMosesMabhida show on 1 December to apply their training.

Emtee insults Cassper Nyovest

On a recent Instagram live Emtee went after fellow rapper Cassper Nyovest.

This is what Emtee could be heard saying in the video

Your boy, what’s his name? That fat boy, what’s his name? He ain’t got no kid. He ain’t got no beat,” he said in the video.

“I got responsibilities, your favourite rapper ain’t got no sh*t going on. All these rappers jumping on gqom beats trying to rap. Man f**k all that sh*t. Busy, gqom here, gqom here. If you’re a rapper, you rap. If you’re a singer, you sing and if you play gqom then play gqom.” 

Well Cassper was quick to respond in the best way ever by inviting him for his #Fillup show in Durban.
