AKA and DJ Zinhle reignite their re-union rumours

For the better part of this year, fans have been speculating as to whether AKA and Dj Zinhle are back together.

They have been spending lots of time together and also allegedly went on a baecation.

Kairo’s parent are yet to confirm the reunion rumors, but the twitter FBI won’t give them a rest.

A twitter handle by the handle @The Real Housewives of Johannesburg Twitter page shared videos seeming to prove that they may be back together.

.In one video supposedly taken by AKA, a woman resembling DJ Zinhle is seen walking in the same direction as him, giving us only her back view, as he hypes her up.

“Oh, girl you’re fine as fuck, girl. Yeah!” he says

In another video, also seemingly taken by AKA, DJ Zinhle is seen checking herself out in the mirror while he asks her where she got her jacket from.

AKA asks: “Babe, where did you get this jacket?”

“This is Kiernan’s jacket, the diesel jacket that I’m wearing with my diesel boots. Don’t be too alarmed, thank you very much,” says DJ Zinhle as she walks away, leaving him in stitches.

DJ Zinhle continues to grow day by day. Adding to her list of successes, the popular DJ has started her own band.

She took to social media to introduce us to her new act, DJ Zinhle and the Strangers.

She followed her post with a preview of what kind of music she is going to be making with the band.

The members of the group remain undisclosed.

Are DJ Zinhle and AKA Back Together?

There are speculations that AKA and DJ Zinhle are back together.

This comes after they both shared photos from their vacation which seemed more or less the same place.

Twitter CSI was quick to point out the similarities and conclude they are on Baecation.

Neither of them has confirmed a reunion as of yet but we are rooting for Kairo’s parents to get back together.

DJ Zinhle responds to bleaching allegations

Dj Zinhle had to defend herself after posting her photos in the #10yearschallenge.

She had to respond to skin-bleaching allegations after taking part in the 10-year challenge that has been trending on Twitter

“Bleaching on steroids. I don’t give rat ass ukuthi nithini self-hating Blacks. Stop making excuses for bleaching. It doesn’t mean I don’t like her when I point out that she’s bleaching idiots. It’s facts she’s bleaching and she’s not the only one,” said Twitter user Fikile Hlatshwayo.

But Zinhle responded to the fan in the classiest way possible: “I-bleach wutatakho [bleach is your father]. Maybe wang’thengela i-bleach [maybe you bought me the bleach] Fiks. Don’t be mean for attention. Umdala [you’re an adult]. Also, we are doing this challenge for fun not so you can be mean so you can take a break. Umuhle yezwa, mawungayeka ukuqina nje [you are beautiful, if only you could stop being stubborn].”

DJ Zinhle Covers January Glam Cover

DJ Zinhle is looking beautiful and bold on the january cover of Glam Africa magazine.

She is dressed in a David Tlale spring/summer 18-19 collection, and also rocks a short pink hair-do.

Glam Africa announced the cover on social media writing: “Introducing our first issue for 2019, titled ‘Think Smart.’ Where we take #NewYearNewMe to new heights by exploring unconventional ways that Global Africa has progressed! With the number 1 female DJ in Africa @djzinhle as our Jan-March cover girls. Dive into this issue to find new ways to Think Smart this year.”

Just before the year ended DJ Zinhle got the coveted title of Africa’s no 1 female DJ.

Her year seems to start on a high note as she has landed the cover of Glam Africa Magazine.

The DJ rocks a  stunning green and pink ensemble, design from David Tlale’s spring/summer 18-19 collection.

She also rocks a short pink hair-do on the cover.

Dj Zinhle catches the attention of Diplo

Following Major Lazor African tour Diplo seems to have notice Dj Zinhle.

Dj Zinhle revealed that Diplo had started to follow her on Instagram.

She shared the post on her stories and an excited Zinhle thank Diplo for the follow.

Well, things seem to be going well with the two as Diplo is seen commenting on some of Zinhle posts.

The DJ who had appeared on a radio can be seen having as she dances to the Song.

Video: DJ Zinhle speaks on relationship with AKA

As much as DJ Zinhle has not confirmed whether she and AKA are back together, she talked about how the two are just right for each other.

She spoke to MacG on his Podcast, about her early relationship with AKA before he cheated on her with Bonang Matheba.

She talked about their lives and how they connected on a deep level that they started officially dating just a day after going out for the first time.

Zinhle talked of how great they were and how they tried for several months to have a child together.

“We were good. Honestly‚ I won’t lie‚ we were just so good together. We made so much sense together. I think being so different made us click. We are different but we worked out and made sense.”

The two were together for three years before welcoming baby girl Kairo.

Zinhle would love to have another child.

“I wish I was (having another baby) but the nine months process is just too long. I would like to but sho‚ man‚ taking time off work and…it is a lot.”

AKA on the other hand, admitted to still loving his baby mama and would not rule out the possibility of getting back together.

DJ Zinhle partners with new brand

DJ Zinhle has added yet another brand to the list of brands she has partnered with in the past. The latest brand she has partnered with is Lifebuoy.

She took to social media to announce this.

“As a mother, I realise vital daily hygiene is for children at schools and at home around South Africa. I strongly believe that we need to work together to ensure the health and hygiene of our kids. That’s why I am honored and thrilled to announce my partnership with Lifebuoy Soap. I am grateful to be a part of this amazing family and cannot wait to change young lives, one hand wash at a time,” DJ Zinhle wrote.

 

DJ Zinhle lands a new TV Job

Dj Zinhle announced  that she would be making her way back to our television screens as the new judge for DJ talent show competition 1’s and 2’s, on SABC 1.

I’m super excited to announce that I have joined @Official_SABC1’s talent search show, 1s & 2s as a judge. The show starts this Sunday at 6pm,” DJ Zinhle captioned a tweet with a collage of snaps of herself while seated at a judges table.

DJ Zinhle speaks on the struggles of being a working mom

DJ Zinhle took to  Twitter to share her struggles of being a working mother, the DJ and businesswoman revealed how her busy schedule results in her spending less time with her three-year-old daughter Kairo, who has also taken notice of this.

“This month has been crazy. I leave home before Kairo wakes up & she’s asleep by the time I get home. I call her from work but she cries every time. Breaks my heart & I miss her so much. I sleep next to her and hope she knows I was there,” DJ Zinhle captioned a picture of Kairo during a video call.

“The other night she woke up in the middle of the night, she wasn’t feeling well. She cried and said “mami, all you ever do is leave…” My heart broke Motherhood is beautiful but tough. I forgive myself for making her sad & I hope she knows that I’m working hard for her, ”she continued before saluting all other mothers.

“To all mothers. I salute you. You make motherhood look easy.”

Nicole Nyaba believes that AKA and Zinhle are back together

Nicole Nyaba has reportedly confirmed that she and AKA were apparently in a relationship.

The socialite, who appears on the cover of Drum magazine, spilled the tea on how they were in love and were even living together.

“Kiernan is a nice guy. He is sweet. He opens doors for you, asks if you’re hungry and tells you how beautiful you are when you wake up in the morning. He was an amazing boyfriend. He was constantly making me fall in love with him,” she said.

Nicole said that everything was rosy between them until they had a fight during the weekend of the Durban July and that things changed after that.

She also revealed to the magazine that DJ Zinhle and AKA are allegedly back together, which she believes was the reason behind their split.

“I asked him if he was with Zinhle and he admitted it,” Nicole added.

Pearl Thusi and DJ Zinhle cosy up in bed for the season finale of Behind The Story.

On the final episode of the talk show,  we get to hear why DJ Zinhle feels as though she is currently in a “weird space.”

She also talks about how she is working on “unlearning” the things she learnt growing up in the order to continue living her best life.

In an interview with City Press Zinhle has opened up on upcoming projects and also addressed the rumors that there is a reunion with AKA.

She revealed that she plans on releasing an Album. I am excited about this new project because I will be working with a lot of talented artists.”

She has not yet decided on a release date.

“I also want to grow as a deejay and start a band. I have asked Kiernan to help me as a music director.”

Jiyane dismisses rumours that she and AKA are back together, however.

“There is really nothing there,” she smiles.

There has been speculation that Jiyane and Thusi were working on a reality show, but she dismisses the rumours. However, she tells City Press that she wouldn’t mind doing a show with the actress.

“If I get to be in a reality show, it will definitely be with Pearl. She has been part of my life for a long time. She is like a sister to me,” she says.

Pearl Thuso and DJ Zinhle have the kind of friendship every best friend wants to have. The two have been friends for many years and have stuck by each other through thick and thin.

When Pearl recently surprised DJ Zinhle with a Chanel watch, she couldn’t hide her excitement and burst into tears.
