The TV personality and his partner Monique Muller welcomed a baby boy named Phoenixin June.
Sharing some beautiful photos of his newborn son on social media, he writes: “Please, don’t grow up too fast – I’m still learning so much from you!”

Katlego Maboe is officially a father. He and his partner Monique Muller welcomed a baby boy on Tuesday. They have named him Phoenix.
The couple took to social media to announce the pregnancy in January this year. In April, they hosted a baby shower which saw their friends and family come together.
Katlego shared news of his son’s birth on social media. He wrote: “It is with utmost and humbled joy that we share the news of arrival of our son, #PhoenixKatlegoMaboe.”
He added: “Our bouncing baby boy is strong (he even stood up today), makes the funniest faces and has the cutest cry. Mommy is wearing the broadest smile on her face and is smitten with her little one.”

Katlego Maboe and his partner Monique Muller held an official celebration this past weekend. It was in celebration of the coming of their first baby boy. He is set to arrive any moment now.
The celebration was held in Cape Town with the Expresso team.
It was a blue-themed baby shower that saw friends dress in blue. Katlego then revealed that their baby boy will be named Phoenix Katlego.
The couple was obviously excited at the celebration that brought friends together. They thus cannot wait for his arrival.

Katlego Maboe cannot wait for the birth of his first child.
Earlier this month, he and his partner Monique Muller, announced that they were expecting.
Maboe is thus over the moon about fatherhood.
“I was like: ‘Oh my word! This is actually happening. This is that next step.’ Our families are very excited and we cannot wait. Someone told us that a child is an inheritance from God and we think that is a beautiful way to describe the gift we are being given. We will treat it as such and we are grateful for it.”
He plans on building a stronger legacy for his son.
“I want to leave a legacy where I am remembered as a man who touched people’s lives and his family was proud of him. I hope that I have given people hope, a hope that no matter the difficulties of life they can move forward in positivity. These are the kinds of life lessons that I am trying to figure out as I go along and hope to one day teach my future son.”
Their son is due in June.
Expresso presenter Katlego Maboe and girlfriend Monique Muller were the recipients of negative comments on Facebook after the couple shared the news that they are expecting a child together.
Taking to the social media site to address some of the comments made about her, Monique wrote in a post:
“Food for thought… I did not ask for any of this. If you see one of the other girls comments. You will notice Kat has previously removed all our pictures which I asked him to do. If you’re wondering why, because I don’t like seeing things like this.”
She added: “I’m happy for my man and he is great at what he does, and it so happens to put him in this position for people to think they have a say. I for one did not want this to be public at all, which is increasingly the reason seeing this is so frustrating. But we were advised to do so, so media couldn’t pit their own spin on it. I am quite irrelevant so then please refrain from commenting on my (this irrelevant persons) pregnancy (sic).”
Katlego Maboe is going to be a father. Taking to social media, the TV personality announced that he and his partner Monique Muller, are expecting.
“We are excited to announce that there will be a new addition to our family. Thanks to everyone who has wished us well and continues to pray for our little princes safe arrival,” Katlego wrote.
His baby boy is due in June.
